In all honesty we had been struggling to find any good places to eat whilst in Ragusa that was not in the old town - the food was either poor or cold or you had to wAit 1 hour and a half just for A starter . On our last evening we came across the restaurant Tocco within the Montreal...

This hotel was recommended by a local journalist, friend of ours, who knows how particular I am for value for money, and a good restaurant. He did not disappoint me. Not only is the Hotel friendly and spotless(the immaculate white towels, are changed daily), but the Half Board (that you could easily change for lunch), is more like "A la...

A nice decent hotel in the new part of town, uphill from the older part. You can easily walk from the hotel to the old part in about 15 min's via a a number of interesting stairs. You can also take a bus. Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful My room was nice and clean with a...

This hotel is not locted in the old town; it is about 10 minutes walk to the steps that descend and cross the town to Ragusa Ibla and the main sights such as the Cathedral. This is not a problem - it is just that I see it described on several websites as being central and only 10 minutes walk...

Dear Sir, thank you for your comment. please, be informed that we definitely are in the heart of Ragusa downtown which is not Ragusa IBLA. We DO are near St. John's cathedral of Ragusa which is only 100 mt far from the hotel. The churh you think is the cathedral, is actually the Duomo of St. George and it is...

The hotel is in a good position. The room was clean, What we did not like the shower as it is fixed so one cannot manage it as one likes. Breakfast was normal except that we had stale bread. Rai stations did not exist on television only Mediaset stations starting from Canal 5. Unfortunately we could not try the restaurant...

This hotel is great, central, and the dinner was fabulous, but breakfast was typical of most Italian three star hotels. What let down the hotel was there was not a full sized power point for an extension cord. I could not use my appliances that charge my camera.

We were traveling by bicycle so should probably have stayed in the lower part of town but this is excellent value for a comfortable room, lovely staff. And we were surprised by the quality of the restaurant. Best meal in our two weeks in Sicily. Even the bread was amazing.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Ragusa. I wish we could have stayed longer as we were very comfortable there. A 10 Euro taxi ride from the bus station. Very close to tourist information centre, grocery store nearby, a great base to explore Ragusa and Ibla. Room was very clean (thank you housekeeping staff - good job!) Room design...

Hotel Montreal is an older and slightly run down property in an excellent position in Ragusa near the cathedral. The rooms are basic but very clean. The front desk staff are extremely helpful. You are not far from the wonderfully historical lower quarter of Ragusa which is a real treat. The restaurant was the real surprise here. Beautifully prepared Sicilian...
