The view was worth the 4 stars alone. Private balcony in room 3 was very nice. The location was great, with a buncha steps to Positano's smaller, less crowded beach and a short walk to the bus stop. Breakfast and hotel staff was good. Wifi wasn't great. Suggestion for hotel: send out an email with thorough instructions on how to...

We stayed here for two nights last week and wished very much we could've stayed longer. We're a couple in our 40s and very seasoned travelers. Pensione Casa Guadagno was lovely in every respect. The room was well-appointed and the huge private terrace overlooking the sea was incredible. Situated on the cliff in Positano, you're far enough removed from the...

We booked our room based on reviews but were a little shocked at the distance from the Centre of town. Unless you're a mountain goat I'd avoid this area. Around 400 steps straight down to the small beach or a 30 min walk into town. The steps back up are a killer. We were waking into town and catching the...

The location is the best for those who do not prefer to be at the noisy and touristic center of the village. In case you dont want to meet tourists in every step, stick to this part of the village, still 10-15 minutes walk from "down-town". Rooms are descent and clean. The staff is very friendly. We forgot our passports,...

My husband and I stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon in Italy. We absolutely loved it. The rooms are wonderful, bathrooms are nice, our favorite part was the balcony. What a spectacular view! We loved leaving the doors open at night. If we get to back again we will definitely stay here!

The Pensione Casa Guadagno was a very good place to stay while in Positano. The small family run pensione had a great view, was within walking distance down to the beach, and had lots of restaurants nearby along the walk. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast included. Although this is a late review since we travelled in...

At Pensione Casa Guadagno we stayed in room #6 which accommodates three so it was a good size room with a decent size bathroom for an Italian BnB. The treat of this room is the larger balcony/terrace which gives you a panoramic view of the sea and the town up the mountain side ( a beautiful view at night). They...

We stayed here for a week recently for our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. It's a small pensione, run by a lovely family who were so helpful and friendly! Our room was huge with a view out to the ocean. It was comfortable and clean. It's not 5 star but if you're after an affordable, comfortable place to say...

Despite all the ants crawling all over our room, our room was very clean. The bed was very hard and the pillows weren't too comfortable but this place was a great find and a wonderful place to stay in Positano. We liked that it was a short walk down to the beach (400 stairs) and close to some really good...

A couple aged 64 and 70 stayed 6 nights. Our room (room 5) was small but the terrace looking directly over the sea compensated. The best room was room 6 - try to get it. The bathroom was very small with a shower so small that it was like showering in cling wrap with the shower curtain. The bed was...
