When we were considering a visit to the Amalfi coast for my wife and her two sisters, we decided that Positano would be a good central location. JoAnne and I had spent part of our honeymoon in a area of the Amalfi coast slightly to the east of Positano and had departed from the Positano beach to visit Capri. The... More

Title says it all. If you want a room with a gorgeous balcony/patio to enjoy a bottle of local wine (Aglianico) overlooking the town, sea and hills/mountains - this it the hotel for you. Sure, it's a long walk (down and then up a million stairs) to the beach, so don't stay here if you're going to Positano to lay... More

We spent 4 days at this hotel prior to going on a cruise. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and the wait staff were awesome. We started in one room, which was awesome and had two bedrooms - I like space - but there were only two of us and the hotel asked after two days if we would mind moving... More

Good location. Great view. Comfortable and clean. The staff were so kind and helpful. The best way to experience Positano is to stay and see it when all the tourists leave. Public transport is a truly local experience we will always remember.

A quaint hotel, service was great, rooms are clean, food was fabulous, especially the breakfast on the balcony, and the view from our balcony was breathless. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Overlooking the sea and the beaches. Can walk from the hotel, down the stairs and onto the beach. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Royal Prisco last spring. We were not informed that our room was flooded and only after numerous calls while we were driving down Amalfi Coast we realised that they moved us to another hotel (turned out it was a better one). Staff were struggling with English so it took a while to get to know what to... More

We had a room with a little balcony and good view. The room size was good for two people. The hotel is a bit outdated and needs renovation. The breakfast was poor. Good for a short stay. I am not sure I would prefer this hotel again.

A beautiful place to be on the amalfi coast! 3 friends and i enjoyed overlooking the terranean sea from our balconies. Amazing sunsets😄 our staff was wonderful and very accommadating. Breaky delish. Not to far from walking thru the gift shops to the beach and back. Hope to be back someday💜 we visited amalfi in sept 2015.

About the right distance from the top of the hill to the beach. Easy to navigate. Hotel staff was the least friendly of all our 5 hotels in 2 weeks. Not rude, just not friendly / overly helpful. Happy to answer any questions, just not going above and beyond. Our rooms were clean and we had great balcony views (see... More
