My family and I just stayed here for four nights and had a fantastic time! The location was great, our room (jr suite with balcony and jacuzzi) was very nice, and the staff was extremely friendly (grazie, Pasquale). The view from our balcony was unbelievable. Breakfast was included, which helped start the day on a high note. Should we return...

What a view we had on the balcony just off from the jr suite. The room was terrific and a big comfortable balcony with jacuzzi and retractable awning. Staff were very good , friendly, and quick to service. The only issue, was with the jacuzzi. For the price you pay for this high level room, the jacuzzi should be available when...

After check in we were shown to our room, which was not nice at all, was overlooking a firewall and had a bad smell of cigarettes. We have requested another room, so eventually we were moved to a higher category for some surcharge. This room was clean, view was fantastic, breakfast bit on the boring side but absolutley accapetable. The...

My husband and I stayed in Positano over the holiday which of course was quiet but very nice. We loved hotel L'Ancora. It was clean, in a beautiful building with an outstanding view. Also very close (walkable) to the town center. The staff is friendly, professional & helpful. We felt very safe in the area & hotel (they have actual...

This hotel was absolutely perfect ! it was our fist trip to Italy and we could not have picked a better place to stay, Our Junior Suite was so luxurious and beautiful. Even a window looking onto the sea from the shower...absolutely breathtaking ! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about this hotel and its...

Like another recent reviewer, L'Ancora was not my first choice of hotels in Positano but they won us over during our stay. It is next door to the higher-end Le Sirineuse and the location is fantastic. High enough up the hill to give great view from the rooms and restaurant, very close to the "main drag"/hill down to the beach...

My husband and I loved this hotel. The ocean view from our beautiful room was amazing. The location of the hotel is great - just a 5/10 minute walk from the beach! We found the hotel staff to be friendly, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is upstairs with a breathtaking view of the beach. We would most definitely stay here again.

After staying here and seeing the quality and location of some of the other (more expensive) hotels we looked at in Positano, we couldn't be happier. Hotel Ancora was perfect, it's a little bit of a walk up the hill from the ferry dock, but well worth it for the amazing views from the room and balcony. The rooms are...

Ahh...Positano. Not our first choice of hotels initially but the delightful staff & charming hotel absolutely won us over. Location fantastic ( although a slight walk uphill), views awesome, food great, staff (especially Margherita on Front Desk) amazing. Would return to this hotel for another stay without doubt.

Highly recommend the Ancora Hotel in Positano, amazing views, 25 steps down to the main beach, fabulous resturants nearby. This was our 1st visit to the Amalfi Coast and this hotel made the whole experience everything we would have hoped for. Great staff, helpful, warm and friendly.
