We (2 adults) were in Positano in march 2015 for 3 nights, staying in Alcione. - Positano: is the place to stay in Amalfi coast, the village with the best views, the cleanest, the most well-kept, etc. - Period: before April there is off season therefore we saw a lot of constructions going on in the village - from terraces,... Perfect location: high enough to have the perfect view on Positano and on the water, and also not a long walk from the beach. From the balcony you can enjoy a breathtaking view on the water, the sunset is heavenly. I loved having my own apartment with a very spacious bathroom and italien furniture and designs on the floor. Recommended highly. Stayed here for 5 days in October, 2014. Clean large rooms with wonderful staff and wonderful view. Breakfast on the balcony each morning. Delightful. We are always doing things outside of the hotel so never made sense to pay premium prices for a room we are hardly using.

My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Positano. Katya was charming and helpful and even arranged for drivers to and from Positano. The apartment was very clean and spacious, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a large living room and nice kitchen. The view from every room was spectacular. This was one of our favourite spots during a month-long trip through... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Alcione. Not cheap (perhaps for Positano it was!) but no complaints. It was the most expensive accommodation for our 4 weeks in Italy. Lots of stairs to reach our floor but we had very helpful and strong (thank you girls!) staff to help (we are in our 60s). Would certainly stay again. Loved... More

We got to Positano and didn't book a room, skipped between few places till I stopped to ask if they have any room available, we had a limited budget. Katya welcomed us and said they have only the suite left I mentioned we have a limited budget, she asked how much we are willing to pay (110€) and she will... More

We had stayed in Le Sirenuse for our 30th anniversary and wanted to be in the same location but did not want to pay the price of Le Sirenuse again. Alcione was a perfect location and we stayed on an upper floor so our view was superb! Just what we were looking for. It could use some updating but you... More

We stayed in the large apartment located near the Sponda bus stop for the SITA bus. Katia was very helpful in meeting us on arrival and helping us to the apartment. The location was good, and the view from the terrace was even better! There was a wonderful view from EVERY window, even the bathroom! It was a huge and... More

Residence Alcione offers an incredible value for lodging and breakfast in Positano. The rooms and apartments all have large terraces with a view of the sea and the town. I have stayed there six times since 2006 and just returned from my September 2014 stay. The rooms and apartments are very pretty and are kept spotlessly clean by the sweet... More
