No emotions. Simply facts. Via Booking.com we reserved this hotel for the same day (Aug 28th) around 4.00pm. We estimated the arrival time between 8.00 and 9.00pm in line with the suggested time slots. We reached the hotel around 8.30. The safety gate is closed. Apparently, the reception closes at 7.00pm. We called the hotel. They explain that they didn't... More

Our GPS told us exactly where the hotel was located but we still didn't find it. Maybe it says more about us than the hotel but it really looked more than a guarded embassy than a hotel. But we pressed the bell at the gated front and Sesam! - it opened. The Booking.com pictures didn't lie but they definitely told... More

We stayed here for three nights to visit cinque terre. Our overall experience is good. The staff was friendly enough to stay until we came on our first day even though we came after the reception was closed. They have a free private parking to the hotel which is nice when you drive around all day. The rooms was clean... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and thought it was just ok. We took the train from Florence to La Spezzia and then took a cab (about 20 euro) to the hotel. Luckily, the cab driver was nice enough to call the hotel for directions because it turned out there was no one actually at the hotel and whoever he had... More

Certainly two nights/days were not enough to visit all the beauties around Cinque Terre. However, Relais Del Golfo nice welcoming made the difference in Portovenere/Fezzano. Nice rooms and bathrooms (either new or recently renovated), free parking lot and wifi allover the quiet structure, friendly staff, good breakfast. Recommended!

Stayed here one night on our way to Tuscany. 10 minutes drive away from Portovenere we we had lovely diner in this Unesco site, next to the Cinque Terre. The Relais has a pool, small but just perfect for the hot summer days! The room was fine.

• We ended up booking this place as we could not get a place in Cinque Terre. The hosts were lovely and managed to fit us in despite our booking via booking.com not having been received! Not an ideal base to visit Cinque Terre as you need to bus into La Spezia (30-40mins) and then train to Cinque Terre. Given... More

The rooms are really good. Breakfast adequate. The attendent was very kind. The problem with localization is the hotel is far from city and restaurants.
