Great food, excellent wine (good pricing). Kids liked the place too. The place is lovely in the middle of a couple of hectares olive trees. Nice small swimming pool. Great terrace where breakfast and diner take place. Flexible for dinner choices for the kids when discussed in the morning. Francesco is an excellent host and helps in organizing day trips:... More

Went here for our honeymoon and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Our host (Francesco) was so very welcoming and would take every opportunity to go out of his way to improve our stay and assist us. Staff were fantastic, and spoke English so very well, which made up for our difficulty with the language (despite our best efforts) and proved... More

This was our first visit to the Gargano Promontory and this little gem of a place was a fantastic discovery. Hidden away up a driveway - we were met by Francesco the owner on arrival. Over a welcome drink he explained the lie of the land and made several suggestions for our visit. Breakfast alone would make me return -... More

My wife and I stayed at this charming little hotel for three nights in May, located in a small valley and walking distance from the beach. The owner, Francesco, is friendly and takes every possible measure to make all his guests feel at home. The restaurant at the hotel is exceptional; great breakfasts, and the dinners are wonderful - home... More

I only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff and particularly Francesco were the perfect hosts, the rooms spotlessly clean and quiet and the food some of the best I have tasted in Italy. The only downside was the weather which was unusual for September but that can't be helped. Already counting the pennies for next year. La Chiusa... More

Set in a 19th C villa above an olive grove a easy walk to the nearby beach. Francesco, the host, is perfectly suited to his work managing this memorable property as well as is his wife Antonella who expertly manages the kitchen. Francesco made us feel like friends who had come to visit, he is a very pleasant man who... More

This was a disappointing hotel variously described as a masseria , an agriturismo etc. Access is the first challenge -it is tucked up a small track off the mainroad - we got redirected there by the garage you come to after you have missed the turn! The road is single track but used in bothdirections so maybe a challenge is... More

We only spent a few days here but not only were we impressed by the quality of the food but by the extent to which our host went to to ensure our short stay in the region was enjoyed to the fullest extent. He even managed to get a power boat for us at short notice at a reduced rate.... More

This place isn't cheap but it's a wonderful experience - there's a lot of attention to making you feel welcome. In August, it felt like a beautiful haven from the hustle and bustle of Peschici and it was lovely to arrive back after a day out. The pool and grounds are very well maintained. Francesco makes sure you have all... More
