Words can't describe how hospitable the staff is in this well-maintained converted farm building just meters from the entrance to the stunning Greek and Roman ruins of Paestum. Highlights: an outdoor pavilion for a picnic once we arrived wobbly from an Amalfi coast drive; a warm fire in the library room once we got back from dinner and seeing the...

I absolutely loved this hotel. Not only is the setting gorgeous (Paestum is well worth a visit), the service and food here were outstanding. Our large room overlooked the gardens (so lovely in April), and had a nice, albeit extremely firm bed. We had a small refrigerator and it included mineral water bottles. The bath soap was even amazing (it...

This is a very charming hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and located right around the corner from the ruins. The food was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting the ruins.

Whilst coming from the Naples airport you slow down and breath the sea air with the fragrance of the pine trees. At the arrival you first enter a gate to a courtyard surrounded by olive and oleander trees and then a door to a vast hall with wooden ceilings, terracotta floors and wooden listelloni with the reception desk, where the...

A beautiful inn and the staff really makes you feel like family. I will be back to this hotel again and try to stay in their tower room inside the garden.. I would love to host a party on the interior courtyard grounds.I dont know if they would let you have a BBQ there but the grounds scream out for...

We stayed one night in room #207. We had a view of the Temple of Ceres. It was a very comfortable room. Dinner was delicious here. We received the Rick Steve's discount so it cost us €72. The staff was gracious and friendly. We loved the quietness here.

Il Granaio dei Casabella is a wealthy farm turned hotel, in a row of old houses along a street, locaded within walking distance of the archeological site of Paestum. Some of the big and clean rooms face a nice green backyard, on towards an active farm and the agricultural countryside, some other rooms face the smaller entrance garden area with...

This is a great hotel for visiting the Paestum temples and Museum. It’s a 25 minute walk from Paestum station and a 10 minute walk from the archeological park. The hotel has a rustic, country house feel. If you have some time on your hands the hotel has a beautiful garden to enjoy and relax in. We enjoyed a delicious...

We were very grateful to the wonderful staff at Il Granaio dei Casabella as they went to great efforts to track down our missing luggage. As well, they provided spacious and beautifully comfortable accommodation with delightful garden and lounge areas. The building is within walking distance of the temples - a fascinating part of the world, which we're so glad...
