We relocated to this hotel after a sleepless night in our booked apartment which was at street level a few meters from a USB cobbled road. We were able to get a superior room for very little more than the standard room price. This room looked out on to a quiet space overlooked by apartments. no traffic noise! The staff...

We stayed in this quiet hotel just off the main square in the heart of this charming Umbrian hill town. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The spacious double room (with terrace) was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was more than ample including scrambled eggs and bacon and a range of fresh bakery products we could smell as...

While driving from Rome to Florence we decided to visit Orvieto, We happened upon this hotel and were very pleased. Thought the rooms are small they are adequate, reasonably priced and very clean. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location is central and within walking distance to everything. We were so pleased with Orvieto and the...

We were here as part of a tour group. Old hotels really small rooms. The bed takes up most of the room. Hotel could use an update. Room and bathroom was very clean. Great location for walking around town. Buffett breakfast was pretty standard. You have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave your room. Manager...

A nice, comfortable hotel with great service located in the center of Orvieto. We only stayed one night but it was a pleasant experience. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a terrace. The daytime manager Riccardo was very pleasant and helpful with our questions. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection and the service staff were very attentive....

This was perhaps the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed, the staff was very kind and helpful. Orvieto is a beautiful walled city on top of the hill. This hotel is located in the center of town. with lots of historic value.

As per most other reviews the hotel could generally do with a makeover. But the old adage you get what you pay for is correct. Not the most expensive in the town but couldn't be better positioned, room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Not the very best but have certainly stayed in a whole lot worse.

I read some other reviews here and wondered if we stayed in the same hotel. Admittedly it was an old building and they greeted our group so kindly. However, our room had a faint smell of --i hope--sewer gas which is really stinky. The bathroom had no ledges of any sort, none, and I had to work off the bed....

The hotel is well positioned and easily accessible even with a car. It is located just a few steps away from main shop area and the Duomo. Service is courteous and breakfast is good. We got good recommendations for very good restaurants in the area.

Only here one night with the tour group, we had a top floor room with air-conditioning which worked OK. This is an old hotel and does need some upgrading, however we didn't spend much time here and were quite comfortable. The alarm went off at 1am and stayed on for 15 minutes before someone came to switch off. I was...
