My husband and I stayed in this hotel on our first visit to Italy in 1999. We recently returned with our teenage children and family/friends. It is still the same quaint place it was 13 years ago! The rooms are clean and well furnished. The staff is unbelievable... very helpful and extremely professional. Orvieto is a fabulous town only 1...

We decided to splurge for our Anniversary and chose the Palazzo. We chose one of the suites in the adjacent building and had a fantastic king room including a loft, sitting area, and a view of the square. The room was beautiful, clean and quiet. The room was 200 euro/night. for that price you can not even stay in a...

We have booked this hotel online for our first night in Italy and it was great. The most important thing you have to know is that if you try to book online, you cannot choose one of the special suites that are shown in the images! You can only book the regular rooms, that are pretty ordinary that have only...

The location of the hotel is wonderful for exploring Orvieto, and our visit to this charming town was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The hotel staff was fantastic -- extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was small. but very clean. The bathroom had upgraded fixtures. Shower was the small Euro-style stall type, but adequate. Breakfast was very nice...

I think depending on which room at what rate you book, your impression on this hotel would be different. In fact on the 2nd floor ( if my memory serves), I found gorgeous space with fine furniture, but unfortunately the room we booked was I would say, as good as a business hotel although we heard that this hotel is...

I'm sure you can find more luxurious hotels in the area...but for the money, you will not find a better place. This charming old palazzo is perfectly located, you can literally walk to quaint cobblestoned streets to the amazing Duomo in less than 10 minutes...this hotel (it's friendly staff, good breakfast) is ideal for spending a night or two and...
