The hotel is great - a characterful building, with parking at the back, located very centrally. The room itself was actually very modern which we weren't expecting, but a lovely surprise - all spotlessly clean, good facilities, lovely bathroom and great shower. There are spa facilties downstairs - lovely pool, steam room and sauna. The only thing that really let... More

We made a late decision to stay in Ortisei and stayed at Hotel am Stetteneck based on other reviews. Was an excellent choice for our short stay, the staff were helpful and friendly and accommodation very good. Dinner at the hotel was also very good. Definitely recommend.

We sent the Hotel an email before we left U.S. and they replied back quickly and gave us great directions from Venice. We were greeted by the most gracious desk clerk name Marlies. She was very helpful with her suggestions of restaurants and recommendations for our hikes. We were only scheduled to stay 2 nights but had such a great... More

A quiet family run hotel, Stetteneck was an excellent base for our walking holiday. The staff are friendly & attentive, The hotel has character and a super pool/sauna/steam bath complex. We had the half board option - the four course dinners were excellent, exhibiting local fare. This was our second stay and we hope to return.

We found the staff at check in very helpful and friendly - a delight for our introduction to Ortisei. The hotel is very competitively priced and very well located close to the heart of Ortisei. The rooms are a great size, comfy bed, plenty of space. The bathrooms are a great size and well appointed. We loved the hotel and... More

The Stetteneck is the perfect place to stay in Val Gardena. The hotel is small enough to feel local, but large enough to have all of the important amenities like a pool, sauna and beautiful rooms. When we travel, my wife and I usually have dinner in local restaurants. Instead, we picked the “half board” option which included breakfast and... More

I can't say enough about Hotel Stetteneck. I own a company that takes American tourists to beautiful and unique locations in Italy and Stetteneck is my special gem! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive and most rooms have an amazing view of the valley and some even have views of the Dolomites in the distance. The hotel is... More

The views out of the rooms are amazing - looking at the mountains and the ski lifts dangling , and the charming village of Ortisei. The rooms are very tastefully done, with beautiful balconies. The staff is very friendly. All that came at a very reasonable price which was incredible. I loved my stay here, and highly recommend this piece... More

We spent two wonderful nights in Hotel Stetteneck. It's centrally located for day hikes taking gondolas up to lovely wild flower filled meadows. The hotel staff are friendly & professional. The room was large & comfortable. Service impeccable. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, like being in a breakfast disneyland. Dinner was equally wonderful and elegant. Each course was delicious and unique.... More
