This review is for the restaurant and not the hotel as I could not find a separate listing. We were actually on our way from the Adler Dolomiti, where we stayed, to VIVES restaurant for a late lunch at around 1.30 p.m. but discovered on arrival that the kitchen was already closed. We stumbled into Hotel Genziana on our way...

I stayed with my wife on a package deal through Crystal. I had initially been attracted to the hotel by its daily menu (6 courses with plenty of choice and the wine list which is extensive and amazingly good value.) When we arrived at the hotel the staff came rushing out to the coach to help us with our bags...

We have been skiing for years but this Hotel has been voted the best yet, well located in the truly pretty village of Ortasie close to ski lift. The service is excellent Lucianno looked after our table of six with swift determination while Franco pirouetted, sang and danced his way into our hearts with marvellous Italian charm. The food is wonderful and...

We booked through Crystal holidays and a week at the end of January is just the best thing to do when it's dark and cold What made it even better was we were lucky and had a week of sunshine. On top of that we very much liked the town and more importantly the Hotel Genziana. Our room was large...

I wanted to try a hotel in the city center and I must say that the choice was excellent. excellent rooms, excellent food, great spa (really good and professional people employed) strategic position. Franco and Luciano in the restaurant are always smiling and ready to meet every need. Giovanni Bernardi, owner, always present, with discretion and high sense of hospitality....

We visited the Hotel Genziana through a large ski package provider with another couple. I would say that it caters for families and couples rather than large younger groups looking for a lot of après ski. There were nice bars, cafes and shops in romantic Ortisei as well as the reasonably priced hotel bar. The hotel itself took good care...

We stayed at Genziana for 2 days, the hotel experience was perfect for us. Everything is shiny and new, interiors are very well decorated (but restaurant lights should be dimmed, its way too bright) and functional. The best part is the staff, we really felt like at home, I ve experienced that only in very few other hotels. Perfect choice...

We stayed at the Genziana September 2014..what a wonderful hotel with excellent staff, rooms and meals. The hotel was in the center of town, very close to shopping, churches and other venues. The evening dining time was a highlight of our trip - not just the food, but Franco, Johnny, Jelena and Luciano. These individuals made our meal times special,...

Loved hotel Genziana. After having stayed at another hotel in Ortisei for many years, we tried Genziana because we wanted to be in the middle of the village. We weren't disappointed. Nice rooms, good breakfast and fantastic dinner choices. A couple of things need to be improved before I can give a 5 star rating: the ski room is small...

Went on a skiing trip to Ortesei with my daughter and son and stayed at the Genziana for a week in March 2014, what a great experience. We all shared a room which was not a problem because it was so big. The bathroom was also large and everywhere was decorated to a high standard. The food was amazing, breakfast...
