Breathtaking boutique hotel. The owner and his family are very nice and they kept the place very clean. We realised that most of their guests are regulars which say heaps about their popularity. They keep coming back to this lovely hotel to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owner keeps the garden well pruned with lightly scented roses and lemon trees....

Il Rondo is a lovely family-run experience. There was a small sitting room adjoining two bedrooms so we had a place to relax with our friends at the end of a touring day. Nicolo has perfect English and his parents are friendly and very helpful. Don't expect streamlined bedrooms- furnishing is rustic and perfect for the area. I would definitely...

This is a beautiful, memorable hotel. My husband, son and I arrived after dark and our host could not have been more welcoming. It was late, but he knew of an open restaurant, made a reservation there, and drove us because we had no time to get lost! After an exceptional dinner we had a stunning walk down the streets...

This location should be on your itinerary, and this place is an absolute must! Most travelers will have a car so this is a great option with free parking just outside the city walls. Host was wonderfully helpful, with wine and beer on arrival. Room and bathroom had enough space to swing two cats which is a joy in Italy!...

The accommodations and the hospitality were fantastic. The hotel grounds were immaculate, the service was great and the breakfast was top notch. My husband and I loved our stay in Montepulciano and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here with our 11month son on our way from Florence to Terracina. It was warm and welcoming. The room was very nice and our son was very happy with the all the attention he got from the staff. Just a short walk from the beautiful town, it was very nice to be able to park the car and...

We stayed here for a week and it would be hard to disagree with other reviews who've said this is an excellent hotel. Our room was beautiful and quiet and the family that runs the hotel is friendly, helpful, and charming. Niccolo was a veritable travel guide with excellent advice about what to see and do in the area, Breakfast...

I highly recommend staying here, especially if arriving by car. Driving and parking in Montepulciano can be a nightmare. Il Rondo is just outside the center, has plenty of parking, and a short 500 meter walk up the hill gets you to the city gate. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the beds are comfortable.

There have been other reviewers stating they wished they would have stayed longer. I normally don't quite feel this way but my night at this place is really too short. The property sits right off the center of Montepulciano. The Garmin GPS led me past its front door so watch for the "Il Rondo" sign on the left as you...
