We had a wonderful time in a beautiful room with a lovely view that you usually see on postcards. The bathroom was wonderful with a double jetted hot tub and double sinks as well as a wonderful shower. The sitting rooms was equipped with a Nespresso and ice maker as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast was pastries and cheeses.

Follow the driving directions to get to the front of this hotel. You drive down streets you don't thing you should be driving on but keep going and you will see the white flag over the door. Push the button and the door will be unlocked for you and then go up two long sets of marble stairs to another...

Hard to find Palazzo Carletti but well worth it. Behind the unassuming large wooden door was a lovely 5-roomed boutique hotel. Good choice of double rooms on either side of the common reception, lounge and breakfast area. We got lucky and had a room with a balcony and wonderful views of Montepulciano and the valleys below.

Beautiful old palazzo near the centre of Montepulciano. We stayed in a double room which was beautifully decorated, with a luxurious bathroom and thoughtful extras. Carletti is intimate and very well run. It's not a budget option, but we found that after a day walking around hill towns it's worth staying somewhere uber comfortable where everything works seamlessly. Montepulciano is...

Only 5 rooms in perfect location. We stayed in the double deluxe carletti room with the turkish bath and balcony. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Stunning value for what you get. Perfect base for our Tuscan romantic break. I am regular visitor to Montepulciano, the best Tuscan town to stay in in my view, but this...

I was so lucky to find this place. I paid in full to get a better price and glad I did. Ok ....not the easiest place to find in the town of Montepulciano, but once there.....forget about all the profanity that flowed on the drive up. A beautiful piece of paradise. It was just my friend and me, but we...

We stayed here for 3 nights in May. We came by train from Arezzo to Chiusi and got the hotel to arrange a taxi for us from Chuisi station. This worked well. The room was delightful, beautiful high frescoed ceiling, plenty of space, a nespresso machine, free mini bar, ice machine. Bathroom was a sort of lower ceilinged pod in...

Fun to stay here as it was an old villa converted into a small bnb. Stayed in the albany room with views to die for. That was the best part of the stay here. When we first checked in our room smelled of smoke (even though it was a non-smoking room). The huge sliding door aired it out, but made...

Wonderful old building, large private area includding a suite and a private living room very comfortable and well equipped. Amazing view for the typical vineyards of the Tuscany region. The place has a very romantic atmosphere, great for couples, but I had a very nice stay traveling with a child and a baby. Only two points that I believe they...
