What a lovely hotel in the center of Montepulciano. The hotel is located in the center of the medieval town and free car parking is provided in car park number 8 outside of the town walls. Despite difficulties finding the car park and driving around the medieval town centre twice, we eventually were warmly greeted by Melania (she seemed to... More

We stayed for 4 nights, using Montepulciano as our base for the region. This was by far the best place we stayed on our whole trip. The staff is terrific- very helpful & responsive. Breakfast is amazing and the rooms are beautiful. Loved waking up each morning to see the frescos on the ceiling. Would absolutely stay again if I... More

Great rooms, very spacious. Nice, updated bathrooms. The safe in the closet fit my laptop easily. The center room/lobby where breakfast is served is lovely. Breakfast was *wonderful.* There was more food than I could ever hope to eat. Complimentary liquor on the liquor cart kept in the center room/lobby. Stephanie was wonderful and very helpful and friendly. We will... More

Palazzo Carletti is a boutique hotel located on the second floor of an old building in the center of town. Warning: the uphill walk to the hotel from the parking area is strenuous, especially with bags! Once at the mountaintop hotel (the whole city is on a mountain top), the painted ceilings and quiet of the room and reception area... More

We had a little bit of difficulty finding Palazzo Carletti at first but frankly, after we arrived, we simply did not want to leave. The hotel/inn is located on the first floor of a historical building in Montepulciano. Reserved free parking for hotel guests is a few hundred metres away. Check-in was warm and hospitable. We were made to feel... More

we parked in car park 8 where you walk up a slope and then down the road a little into town, the Palazzo is identified by a flag on the wall (no hotel sign!). Not really sure why this is in the B&B/Inns category (perhaps because they don't have a 24hr reception?) otherwise it's very much like a hotel. It's... More

Nice apartment house at first floor of an ancient palace. You can park at parking nr 6 (paid 15 euro for 36 hours), 200 mt from the hotel, or at parking nr 8, free for guests, but farther. Receptionist is there until 19.00, if you plan to come later you must inform them, they will wait for you. First floor... More

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful room with a lovely view that you usually see on postcards. The bathroom was wonderful with a double jetted hot tub and double sinks as well as a wonderful shower. The sitting rooms was equipped with a Nespresso and ice maker as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast was pastries and cheeses.

Follow the driving directions to get to the front of this hotel. You drive down streets you don't thing you should be driving on but keep going and you will see the white flag over the door. Push the button and the door will be unlocked for you and then go up two long sets of marble stairs to another... More
