The hotel is in the first floor of an historical palace right in the centre of montepulciano . First a brief note on the village of Montepulciano which lies on the top of a hill in the val d orcia region . The place is really beautiful and within one hour drive you find yourself in some of the most...

Staying in a castle is not something I do on a regular basis, and Palazzo Carletti makes you feel like you have just walked into a dream. The main lobby is so beautiful and unexpected - you walk up a huge staircase, open a door and are transported into what looks like a huge drawing room. Our room was beautiful,...

We selected this small boutique hotel based off of other reviews here on TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. Our room was exquisite, with a separate living room, a bedroom, and a jacuzzi equipped bathroom. It was opulent and divine! We've shared photos of the views from our room. They were incredible! We were slated to stay here two nights, but we...

We felt like we were walking into our own little Tuscan palace apartments when we stayed at Palazzo Carletti. It is only 5 guest rooms surrounding a comfortable, frescoed lobby. The staff was very helpful, especially in booking our wine tasting. It was a very conveniently located place to stay. I definitely recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while visiting Montepulciano. We had the a suite with a view of the Montepulciano Valley which was breathtaking. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Originally, it was the palace of a nobleman which was renovated into a hotel (5 rooms) and apartments so it's very unique. It has frescos on...

3 couples stayed here for a few nights in September 2016. The hotel is located right in the middle of Montepulciano, and is essentially just the 2nd floor of the former Carletti family villa. It is not obvious that it is a hotel when you walk up to it - it looks like an old building that has been converted...

If you want to stay in a palazzo in the centre of town then this is the place to stay. Large rooms with frescos on the walls and ceilings, very friendly staff, free bar, steam room. Free allocated parking in nearby car park.

The hotel is situated in the city center and the parking is like 500m to the hotel. So if ypu have a big luggage it is kind of hard to walk to the hotel from the parking. Also there is no elevator to the hotel and it is situated on the first floor of a building. The rooms are spacious...
