The hotel is beautiful inside and out. First we were very impressed by how luxurious the lobby area looked and also the lounge area outside. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom beautiful. The bed was also very comfortable. (The room was a bit small but we chose an economy room, so can’t complain.) The pool is beautiful and inviting. Unfortunately not enough umbrellas for shade though. Only one tree and one umbrella. The reception, restaurant and cleaning staff were all exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. The spa area is beautiful, cool and relaxing. I can recommend paying extra for a massage. The hotel is located in a quiet leafy district near the main park. Perhaps bit of a long walk from the centre of town. The town is located about 40 minutes by car from the nearest beach, 40 minutes from Pisa, 30 minutes from Lucca, 1.5 hours to Siena. We loved going on trips to the nearby cities, but also just hanging out at the hotel enjoying the pool and spa facilities (and the gym.) We loved the fact that it was a truly dog friendly hotel but without being dirty. We weren’t handed a list of rules which made us feel truly respected. The only disadvantage was the thin walls, meaning we could hear our neighbours showering at 3 am.…
We have stayed here three times now and love it. It has a lovely mix of being big enough to have all the facilities that we want together with also having the feel of a small family run hotel that has the time and attention to their guests. Highly recommended.
We stayed in their connecting room for 4 nights. Was good value of Money! Hotel staffs very friendly and helpful. Food was very nice. Wifi Connection can still improve. And when I tried using hair dryer for longer time, the electricity seems to not being able to handle. Except that we enjoyed a lot.
All rooms appear to have a balcony and most of them have a view of Montecatini Alto, the village approached by a nearby funicular railway. The room was clean though sad to say, on the last evening when I came to retrieve my suitcase from under the bed, the suitcase bottom was covered in fluff, hairs and even tissue - not mine.Towels and bedding were refreshed frequently. The shower room was fully tiled which made it slippy so I requested a rubber shower mat. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of variety including CAKE. The 4 course evening meal was served at table, from choices made at breakfast time, though there was a wonderful array of salad items at the buffet for the starter.
We have had a really great stay at your hotell. The room were clean and the straff was exellent. We love to be back. The breakfast menu was top, and the pool was clean and shiney. We can therefore recomend this hotell to everyone.
Excellent hotel, food and service in this lovely hotel. Well worth a visit. Sited in a fairly quiet part of the town and within walking distance of the centre. Lots to do and see in surrounding district.
Really lovely stay. The food was fantastic and they were happy to cater for special diets. The staff in all areas were charming and very helpful. The room was smart, clean and comfortable. It’s location was perfect for walking into Montecatini, for shops and the train. I would highly recommend staying here.
Really great stay. Lovely staff, very efficient and excellent Italian tasty and varied food. Wine quality good and prices reasonable - even on miserable sterling exchange rate! Ask for a room on upper floors where balcony has views of old town.
Good location with ample parking. Montecatini is a good base to visit northern Tuscany with easy train access to Florence. The hotel is very well equipped and our room was very comfortable and clean. We couldn't fault the breakfasts, there was plenty of choice and all freshly made. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
Had a lovely stay at this hotel very clean with friendly staff but can be very busy when touring parties are staying but other than that could not fault this hotel We ate there two nights and found the food very good and the head waiter excellent
