We stayed at Minerva Palace for 5 nights we have nothing but praise for all aspects. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast food and service were excellent. The staff were all friendly, courteous and they all spoke English! The location could not have been better since it was a 4 minute walk to the train station and a short walk to many fine restaurants. Our only disappointment was that the dining room was never open for dinner.

The Hotel Minerva Palace is an older style hotel but it really is very comfortable, clean with an excellent and courteous staff. The location is great! It is in the center of town 1 block from the Piazza Del Popolo with its numerous restaurants, a nice walk to the Funicular to Montecatini Alto and just 2 blocks from the railroad station. I can’t say enough about Ervisa at the front desk who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, well informed about Montecatini Terme and the sites to see in Tuscany.

As part of our Tuscany road trip, we stayed at this property for a few days (booked through Gate 1 travel) with my wife. The hotel is a gem, like preserved through decades. The serve is top notch, a smile every time of the day (and to hotel manager, I regret not remembering the lady's name that always was genuinely smiling and asking how our day had been), And the owner / manager who served as bartender, tour recommendations, etc. These people make the hotel stand out. Conveniently located near everything.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in September 2022. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and my single room was larger than I’d have anticipated. The breakfast was great and serving staff was attentive and kind. I would definitely stay again!

Glad we picked this hotel as a choice from a package offered from Gate 1. We stayed at the Grand last time which was in the center square but the rooms were smaller and the bar and dining room not as nice. This time we even had parking across from the hotel. We did not have to drive around town finding a place. The staff here was so accommodating. The breakfast was very good and will also make you bacon and eggs on request.

We traveled around Tuscany in May 2022 and used Hotel Minerva Palace as our base. We loved everything about this charming place, especially the staff. Perfectly located within a quick walk to the train station and also to lively restaurants, cafes, and the park, the room we had was perfect and looked over the neighboring tile rooftops. The breakfast room reminded me of old Europe where tour groups and travelers gathered for a breakfast of anything you'd want, including scrambled eggs or eggs made to your liking. The front desk staff were especially helpful with tips on parking our car (they took care of the street parking fees on our behalf), where to go for the day, when and when not to take the train, and where to go in Montecatini (take the funicular up the hill and have dinner). We loved the town of Montecatini so much, in great part to this hotel, that we are considering returning there for an extended stay!

Very nice hotel. Very clean. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They spoke English. Breakfast is good. Room is small, but sufficient. Nice bathroom. Walls are somewhat thin; noisy neighbors at times. Parking was tricky. Was able to park in their small lot the first night, but had to find street parking for the rest of the time there. This hotel was a good choice.

This hotel is lovely; the photos do not do it justice. But photos can't communicate the exemplary attention and service from the staff to meet all our needs. The bartender and night porter, in particular, went out of their way to provide personal assistance. Room was spacious; location in town was great; breakfast was good enough; speaking English was never a problem. Parking was difficult, but the staff always made the effort to find us a spot.
