I could not believe how abominable this hotel would be. It was advertised as a four star hotel but I would not even give it one star in my wildest dreams!! I have travelled extensively in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and in Italy and I can truthfully say that I have never before experienced such an appalling hotel. The entire hotel... More

If there was zero for validation I would write that. This is a terrible place. We came with tourist agency and we have to live here 3 nights. I don't know from where to begin.... the room is with old furniture but I never care a lot about that but everything is dirty. Very dirty. It's us 5 degrees outside... More

we had a nice room with a 'green view'. Rooms are ok but a little bit over-dated. it was a bit far from city center but next to a busy street. Montecatini is a delightfull place. Breakfast was poor but may be because we were a tour group. we didn't use the pool but it seemed clean.

Check in is so important in order to start your stay with good feelings. Ours could not have been better. Every question was answered with kindness and friendliness. The rooms were spotless, the pool was great to relax in. The breakfast choices were extensive and catered to every taste. It was a bit far from the center and there was... More

Montecatini is a wonderful town in the heart of Tuscany known for its thermal springs. I stayed as part of a tour for 2 nights. Staff were nice and helpful and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok, not great and the room was a bit dated. The hotel is located right next to the funicular which has been operating... More

We stayed in room 206 last week! It has clearly been renovated recently and was clean, sytlish and suited our needs perfectly. We were travelling with our 11year only and he had his own little annex with a single bed -it was more like a suite then a bedroom yet we only paid €70 per night bed and breakfast. Yes... More

We arrived there on an organized tour and spent 2 nights. The room and bathroom were clean and there was an empty mini-bar in the room for our use. We had a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs overlooking the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful and the town is very nice to walk around in the... More

The hotel is located away from the centre of town next to a busy main road. Although the rooms to the front get some road noise, that is where you want to be as some rooms to the rear look onto a wall! Food was generally good and all the staff pleasant and helpful from chambermaid to manager and particularly Gianni... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cristallino in August. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All of them had a friendly smile and always a "buon giorno" for you. We had a nice room overlooking the pool and across to the park. It was clean and of a good standard. The food was plain and could have... More
