Overall a nice hotel in a good location on the main piazza. If you are visiting Venice then there is a trade off, either you go for the more expensive hotels in Venice or you choose this hotel and commute. Once we found where the tram station was commuting into Venice was simple, but be aware all public transport into...

We recently visited Venice for my birthday. We had been told that the centre of Venice is always heaving with tourists so we opted to stay in Mestre, which is about 20 minutes away by tram. A colleague recommended Hotel Al Vivit, which is a small hotel overlooking the square. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the whole hotel....

If you are looking to visit Venice but do not like the prices of hotels then this may be a good option for you. Mestre is about 15 to 20 minutes max on the train to central Venice, it has a lovely square in which the Hotel Vivit is located, the rest of the town may not be great but...

Hotel Al Vivit was a great hotel in Mestre, about 14kms from Venice. We used the hotel as a stop over before our day trip to Venice. The staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. The rooms, although a little dated, were clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was included in the price and delicious! Would recommend this hotel...

The hotel is set in what I would call the older part of Mestre among shops and restaurants. It is only 5 minutes walk from where you catch the bus to Venice. My room was clean and well furnished and looked out on to the piazza. Staff were friendly and welcoming both when I emailed them before my visit and...

The hotel is right in the middle of Piazza Ferreto. Lots of places o eat and shop.Breakfast is excellent with lots of choices .Rooms are quite small but clean but nothing different from any European hotels. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They even follow-up one of my friends luggage that was lost by the airline and was delivered in...

The location is excellent in the old town square which in the evening comes alive..great for travel to Venice 15min and for train to Verona and lake Garda..tho you do need taxis at the lake Garda station to Sirmione. Cleanliness and breakfast are first class but perhaps they charge 4star rates for 3 star hotel..slightly dear..no tea, coffee facilities in room,...

Stayed here for a couple of nights in September. To start with finding the hotel while driving in our car was not the easiest as we didn't realize it is in a piazza with no direct vehicle access. However once there staff were very helpful with explaining where to park our car with good security. Our room was comfortable and...
