We spent one night in the room for four and the stay was just OK. The room was quite small and very basic, furniture rather old, not what you would expect from 3 star hotel. The walls were thin so we could hear everything that was happening outside our room, but fortunately the hotel was really quiet during our stay...

I stayed 5 nights in the Hotel Centrale*** in Mestre. I checked in with a german tour agency that promised a comfortable double room. What I got was a single room with a bed as wide as my sleeping bag, a tiny bathroom with an even tinier shower where even I almost didn't fit with a height of 160cm. At...

Booked through a BA package and all went smoothy, the only minor hiccup being on arrival and being told our reservation had been cancelled! However this was dealt with superbly by the receptionist and our room was sorted out. We had a room on the 1st floor at the front and was quiet. We also had a balcony. The room...

The hotel was very basic and old. The Wi-Fi was weak which made nights in the hotel boring as we only had Italian TV to watch with no ability to switch on the subtitles. We were promised a bottle of champagne on arrival which never happened. Breakfast was just ok nothing to look forward to every morning. The staff were...

I must say that this was a very basic hotel and I would not stay again. If you are looking for basic then this is the place for you but like a lot of Italian hotels they are not rated at the right level.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Centrale. Easy and convenient to get to Venice, but also benefiting from a central location in Mestre. Staff was friendly and gave us directions to Venice and recommendations on how to spend our day there and not overspend.

The bus stop to Venice is one minute walk from the hotel and nice shops and restaurants in Mestre are also near to Centrale. The room was small but comfortable , breakfeast is ok , the clean lady was so kind ( she put my flowers to water) and the waitresses are also nice.

You get very much what you pay for, and I must admit I did not pay a fortune to stay at this hotel. The good points were that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable with clean sheets etc. There was a rather small screen TV in the room, which, itself, was quite small, since it had a double...
