A new Michelin star chef we were told. We found his speciality seemed to be using up leftovers. Limited vegetables, griddled courgette ribbons or courgette skins nearly every day. Limited deserts – panna cotta or ice cream or tiramisu (without coffee, without sponge, just custard) every day, and perhaps one other desert. Bring back the chefs of past years when...

This hotel is a gem! Not a huge, impersonal tower block but a small, clean, modern, hotel with friendly and helpful staff, small but well tended gardens and outdoor pool area. Good indoor pool with enough room to really swim in and warm Jacuzzis too, also an excellent gym. We didn't try the Spa treatments but were tempted. There was...

We were moved into this hotel by our travel company because the Hotel Maximilian where we were due to stay had over booked. Not a good start as we learnt about this only two days before we were due to leave for Italy. However in many regards it was perhaps a good thing. The Baia Verde is a very good...

We stayed here for five nights and booked a suite. It was a very large and comfortable room, well designed and modern. The views from the room were outstanding. The breakfast was of good quality, buffet style and you could order freshly cooked omelettes and fried eggs. In the afternoon complimentary tea and homemade cakes were served. We did not...

Stayed here in July with my Fiance. The hotel is approximately 1 mile from Malcesine city centre but the hotel does run a free shuttle service there and back which is a nice touch. Room was huge and had am amazing view of Lake Garda, staff didn't speak much English which I think some people confused with arrogance.. The staff...

Me and my husband visited this hotel twice. The first time in December, the second in the warm season. We were welcomed in a warm way. We enjoyed the outdoor area, the swimming pool (too many children), and the SPA. The latter was simply fab, with good cleaning, soft towels and extremely careful service. The room are strange (long and...

This is a fantastic hotel with lovely big rooms, a really nice pool, super friendly and accommodating staff and the food was delicious! We ate here 4 of 7 nights of our stay which is very unusual for us. Malcesine is a very pretty town 1-2km away. The hotel lend you bikes for free or you can catch a shuttle...
