Hi, Just returned from a week's holiday at the Hotel Augusta in Malcesine. The hotel was excellent and the room we were allocated (34) was great. From the moment we arrived the staff were really friendly and we were shown up to our room which was a really nice touch. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, the pool (indoor &... More

Myself and my fiancee travelled to Laka Garda for a family wedding, the bride and groom stayed at hotel augusta. As we were at another hotel due to augusta being fully booked with no pool or garden we met up with the bride and groom for the first 2 days at their hotel. We had a lovely time as the... More

The first impression is a tad disappointing.... The hotel is basically on the edges of a carpark and opposite the cable car but once you are inside, everything changes. The hotel is pristine, the staff are helpful, the swimming pool in the middle of a beautiful olive grove garden gives perpetual shade if you need it and the buffet breakfasts... More

Firstly the positives, good location, loved the town of Malcesine, not too far from the main town where there were lots of places to eat and the beds were comfortable. On the downside, I saw another review about penny pinching and I think that sum's it up. Others have mentioned the pay as you go A/C and then only during... More

We have just returned from a week at this hotel. First of all the location of the hotel is perfect..directly opposite the cable car for Mount Baldo, 5 minutes walk to the Castle and approx 7 minutes walking to the bus station or ferry port. The hotel appears to have undergone a recent upgrade, with a lovely indoor and outdoor... More

Beautiful modern hotel, it was very clean and tidy and staff were brilliant always asking if everything was good. Our room over looked Mount Baldo and the cable car, there was traffic noise but nothing to spoil out holiday as it was through the day when we were not in the room. It is located in an ideal place short... More

Stayed for a week at the Augusta. The hotel is well located just a short walk from bars and restaurants. The cable car entrance is only yards away. The room was spotless, and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. We had nice views of the mountains behind, and of the lake (over rooftops). The general areas of the hotel were... More

This hotel is well run and clean. The pool area is nice. The beds and our rooms were clean and comfortable. Our view of the castle was stunning. It is a good location for the town and for the cable car to monte baldo although only go on that in the very early morning. The queues get ridiculous in the... More
