We stayed at the Majestic in August while attending a family wedding. We stayed in the deluxe rooms & they were beautiful, spotless clean, the food was lovely, & great for the kids. It's a nice stroll into town, or there are frequent buses from the hotel. The Lake Garda region is stunning & Malcesine is a very pretty town,...

It is disappointing to see any negative reviews about this hotel as our stay was anything but disappointing. A lot of what previous negative reviews say is simply not true or comes from people who can never be pleased. The hotel is very modern, tastefully decorated and kept spotless. The gardens and flora are very beautiful. The staff are very...

We stayed at the Majestic hotel for a week at the end of August 2012 and was delighted with it. Payed a little extra for a deluxe room and couldn't believe what we got for our money. The room was very spacious, super clean, nice and quiet and the view over the mountains and lake was breathtaking... Meal times where a little...

If you want a comfortable hotel with generous food and lots of activities for kids this might be the place for you. But it is a large hotel, catering mainly to German and English tourists and, as far as we could tell, no Italians among its clientele. Meal times, as other reviewers have noted, could be boisterous. The short mealtime...

Poor standard of rooms, they look very tired, they need be updated. They do not reflect the four star rating and the price we paid to stay at the hotel. We had to change rooms when we arrive as there was mould on the curtains and the whole room was worn out, not what we wanted to start our holiday...

This was our second time to the Majestic Palace and it did not disappoint! The hotel offers something for everyone no matter how old or young. The food is excellent and the variety is great - we were two weeks there and found there to be variety at every meal. There are 5 different pools and lots of lounge areas...

I stayed here for 7 nights and was delighted to escape with my health. Meal times were chaotic as the buffet-style service entailed rushing and scrambling for food to retrieve warm pizza, greasy fish and dodgily-cooked vegetables. Wonderful for people who drink alcohol as it's all free (hence the scrambling). Essentially an all-you-can-eat buffet which would best suit Homer Simpson...

Stayed here on above dates with 19 yr old daughter and 2 yr old grandaughter as well as a large group of my family for a wedding. This hotel is half way up the mountain, you can walk down to malcesine in about 20 mins, can walk up bit is a bit hilly so allow 30 mins, we managed it...

My husband and I have just returned from our first visit to Lake Garda. We stayed at the Majestic Palace after reading reviews. We were not disappointed as we had a great weeks stay there. We had been on a cruise the previous year and although this was not the same standard as a luxury cruise, it was indeed a...

A great place to stay, very helpfully staff, buffet style meals with plenty of choice and good food. A 20 min downhill walk into the town is ok but coming back up can be daunting, however there are buses if you time it right.
