Pros: Location was wonderful, many hiking itineraries pass through the rifugio. Nice breakfast. Hosts were helpful with the luggage - allowed us lift it up and down to/from the rifugio. Cons: Stay is too expensive for low season if u include dinner, it doesn't include hot drinks. Wi - Fi doesn't work and is not free. You have to register... More

We spent 1 night at this rifugio in early October and were a group of 20 including 5 children. The rifugio coped very well even though we were a large group (with one sick child, as it turned out). The staff were very accommodating and efficient and the rifugio itself delightful. The rooms were warm and inviting as well as... More

We spent two lovely nights here in July 2016 before starting our via ferrata in the Brenta Dolomites mountains. The building must have recently been refurbished because everything looked new. It was modern yet very cosy. The rooms are spacious (I recommend the Rhododendron room, for it has two lakeside views), the beds are very comfortable, and the shower is... More

We were travelling with 3 little baby’s. The climbing to the hotel from the parking area took us 50 min (and not 10 min as mentioned). The stuff was rude; don’t like strangers, not kind at all. And the room was uncomfortable and small. Value for money very poor. and when we asked to check in a day before, they... More

Dear Sir Rozembelt, I am writing to you to answer to your complaint related to your holiday at our place. You should been for sure aware about the fact that the double-room you booked was aimed at welcoming two people instead of five (like you used it for!). Secondly, withouth caring about this fact, your child slept at you friends'... More

We have spent a week in this wonderful place, with our german shepherd dog, and it was like being at home; actually better than being at home, thanks to the friendly attitude of all the staff. Rooms and meals were excellent. The place is breathtakingly beautiful and full of opportunities for hiking in an environment almost untouched by man. We... More

Stayed here for two nights with Italian cousins, Sonia and Peter, on our visit from Australia. It was breathtakingly beautiful. We left the car at the base of the mountain, our luggage taken up by cable, it was a long haul up the mountain by foot but worth every step. The chalet was surrounded by lake, trees and snow capped... More

I paid 2€ for a water bottle at the bar of "Rifugio Lago Nambino". Then I left. When I was 200m from the bar, I was "hunted" by the waitress because she was sure I didn't pay for the water bottle. I assured her I had paid my bottle but she accused me that it was not true. I came... More

I highly recommend this place. In our experience everything was perfect. The location is the best if you, like us, are looking for peace, quiet and amazing scenery! The rifugio is on the bank of a delightful little lake and you feel like you are hundred of miles away from everything and everyone! so secluded! the staff is extremely friendly... More

Don't understand the last review - we found the owners exceptionally friendly and the food excellent. The setting is lovely, starting with a drive up a snowy track to a small car park, then the fun of having an electrically operated metal basket sent down a small cablecar arrangement through the trees to collect our bags, after which a half...
