Beautiful hotel and amazing staff that can not do enough for you. If you are their on a Thursday great typical Italian market in the town center. The rooms are massive and clean. Food is amazing. You'll need a car but so worth the visit. Enough wineries in the area to make a great couple of days

When i arrived and asked about evening dining times, i was told i could not eat in the hotel as the restaurant was full. I would not have booked the Hotel if i'd known the restaurant was full. Otherwise it was nice, the staff i spoke with were friendly, the room was comfortable and very large.

This grandiose castle has the potential of a Château & Relais class hotel alas some refurbishing would be necessary. However, firstly you have to find it and that is without your GPS because for some reason it does not work in this area always being a few kilometres off from where your vehicle is located. Best bet is to approach...

One year ago, more than 75 of our family and friends visited Loreto Aprutino for our wedding at the Castello Chiola! Guests came from all over the United States, other areas of Italy and the world to visit the beautiful town and experience the hospitality, delicious local cuisine and culture that the Castello and the town of Loreto have to...

We were in Loreto Aprutino, in the Abruzzo region of Italy, to visit some nearby wineries, and we stayed at the Castello Chiola. The staff was very welcoming. There is a large elevator (for Italy). The rooms and the baths are immense, unlike in many older buildings that are repurposed as hotels, which can be quite chopped-up. The size alone...

Amazing setting surrounded by great restaurants with great staff. There was a football match last night and a wedding and we did not hear a thing. I highly recommend junior suit that faces the city. Views are priceless! Loved it! The food was amazing and the advice priceless.

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is set in a beautiful location atop a hill overlooking the gorgeous town of Loreto Aprutino. It has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, olive groves, a hill top church, the township below, the Appennine mountains and the Gran Sasso. It is a renovated Castle. It should be amazing. Reality - its just average...
