Not really balconies one side of the hotel faces a convent type building over a road, there are some inward facing rooms onto the interior courtyard at the back and rooms at the front have a small grill where I think the doors open inward and you can step out - so not balconies but its the interiors that old a blast from "the belle epoque" - the beautiful era with older style traditional Italian drapes, old master style paintings and marble staircase.
