Surrounded by the greenery of Franciacorta, near the lake and the popular Torbiere del Sebino natural park, the hotel Iseolago is the perfect place for a relaxing stay. We are in the heart of Lombardy, a privileged area, rich in art, food and wine traditions. The hotel has a huge park of 10,000 square meters leading to a sunbathing area and three open-air swimming pools. These are accessed via a beautiful covered walk way of jasmine. During the summer season our guests can get free access to the adjoining Lido Sassabanek, which offers three swimming pools, a private beach and access into the lake.

Detailed Reviews
We followed our stay in Riva with 4 nights in Iseo. We paid for a suite and the room was very nice. No complaints whatsoever.
The staff were pleasant and tried to assist whenever possible.
The food was disappointing. The menu lacked imagination. For example, yesterday evening we chose what sounded nice but in essence was a chicken salad. Desert one night was melon and kiwi fruit. Speaking to another couple, they agree that the food was really basic.
Iseo town is pleasant but a good 15 minute walk from the Hotel along a rather drab road with graffiti on many of the buildings. There is a courtesy bus but at €10 per head for a return journey the cost is a bit steep.
The ferry timetable is complicated and the bus one not much better. The journey times are not really co-ordinated . Just going to the Island is not too bad but other journeys can mean possibly a 4 hour wait between ferries. I understand why as much of the week the ferries are quiet, whereas weekends everywhere is busy.

We are sorry that our restaurant was not up to your expectations. We usually have positive feedback in this department. Anyway, we take note of that because we are sure there is always a chance to improve. As regards the shuttle service we would like to specify that the price is 5 Euro per person. Kind regards

Spent a couple of days in Iseo and the Iseolago hotel. The hotel is nice with a pool area and access to a park close by where you can access the Iseo lake. The hotel offers pool towels. The breakfast was really good with e.g fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread and yogurt.
The air conditioner was centrally steered so the room was too warm, we couldn’t get the cooling temperature that we wanted. That is the main reason for my rating.

We are very sorry. If we had known about the problem with the air conditioning, we would have promptly adjusted it. However, we took note of your report, which is very important to us, and we hope to welcome you again in our hotel. Best regards, the Management Office

We stayed here for 6 nights in June. Ideal spot to have your base at. I know a lot of people have said it is a long walk to the town but it is only 9 to 10 minutes if you are fit and healthy.
We stayed in one of the apartments. The place was spotless and then only 2 seconds walk to the lovely swimming pool. The life guards on duty checked the water in the swimming pool every day, which was great to see.
The people that worked in the hotel where all very pleasant and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was unexpectedly one of the least considerate hotel stays I've ever had. We had stayed here for a wedding and after the wedding party ended (~2am) we headed back to the hotel. At the hotel we realized none of the water was running in our room (no sink, no toilet, no bidet, no shower, etc.).
We had to leave early the next morning for 10+ hours of travel and really needed water to prepare for this - ideally shower but at a minimum, brush our teeth. We called down to the front desk and told them of our issue and also texted other guests we knew staying in the hotel who confirmed they also did not have running water.
When the employee from the front desk arrived at our room, he verified that the water was in fact not running and offered no solutions. He told us the whole place was booked/no available rooms and we could not use any common area showers or sinks (i.e. the spa shower could not be used). We repeatedly asked him to bring us bottles of water to brush our teeth. He eventually conceded after 10+ minutes of begging (at 2 am!!). He left to go get the water.
He then came back 15 minutes later with a room key for another room?? Apparently there was a suite available all along that he did not want to offer us but eventually decided to offer. We used the suite to shower and brush our teeth but were incredibly frustrated with the experience.
We should not have to beg for a basic hotel offering such as running water. There are only a few things I expect from a hotel (a place to sleep, running water, and a safe place to store my belongings). This hotel seriously lacks at providing one of these basic things.
We contacted the hotel and shared our frustrations. They offered minimal remorse (offering only 10% off our stay). 10% off for lacking a basic hotel essential is not sufficient.
We spent nearly an hour in the middle of the night working on resolving this issue, faced with hotel staff that were not eager to help us without being begged to provide a solution.
I would highly recommend reconsidering if you are looking to stay here!! They truly do not care about their customers' experiences!!

Miss Mockus, it is a shame to receive the third same report of complaint, especially because you stayed here in late September. We were sure we had cleared it up in our previous communications. At this stage we think it is necessary to explain the situation to all those who will read the review. We greatly regret what happened. We promptly made the necessary checks and we informed you that it was a brief interruption of water supply by the operator, who did not send us any communication. Our emergency water tank made up for it while the supplies last. Anyway, the hotel staff did what they could to solve the problem at night and gave you a suite (you waited 10 minutes, SUCH A LONG TIME...). The special rate for the wedding was €155.00 per room per night instead of €185.00. At your check-out we apologized for the inconvenience and made an additional 10% discount to the discounted rate. We are sure we have done everything to repair the inconvenience, which was not caused by the hotel, by the way.

The Hotel needs to invest in soft skill training. At breakfast, I was initially seated indoors and wanted to change to a table outdoors and I was outrightly refused like a school teacher. When I asked for a coffee during Breakfast Buffett, after having gotten up from my table to talk to my conference attendees, was told you must pay because you finished breakfast. Again I felt like I was being disciplined even though I didn’t make any unreasonable request. Let’s consider that if the Hotel had such a policy, it could have been said politely. When I went to complain to the duty manager, she didn’t offer an apology. Saying thank you, sorry when a request can’t be met, smiling and being courteous goes a long way. Hospitality is crucial and should be expected from a four star boutique hotel.
The front desk personnel were highly professional and polite on the other hand. The hotel itself is well kept and charming, albeit, a bit dated.

We are very disappointed about the situation. We were carrying out the necessary checks, as our Director told you, when we saw your timely negative review. We have been informed by the staff that you had breakfast and left. You came back later asking for another table and coffee. As for our policy, our guests can have breakfast one time per day. Regards

Every time I go golfing at Golf Club Franciacorta, I had always stayed at this hotel. However, I am having doubts now. Very disappointing stay, this time.
The quality of the service have declined enormously.
How could the hotel answer me at 8:30 that there are NO MORE croissants!!! A flat NO. If I had arrived at breakfast at 9:30 or 10:00, I will understand, but not at 8:30, at a hotel as large as theirs. There were no more danish pastries, and the scrambled eggs were very dry.
The room was cold at night. The heater in the room did not function, so I had to go to the Reception to request repair. Instead, the answer was "We will turn it on." So the heating was intentionally turned off (to save heating cost???) Just to give you an idea, the hallway was much warmer than the room.
I remember, there were slippers in the room in the past. NOT any more.
There are many other cute hotels, agriturismo and B & B in the area, which I would like to try. After these negative experience, I think I will go and try other options.

.Nice hotel. The junior suite was quite spacious with a balcony and excellent air conditioning. The parking lot is conveniently located just outside. There is a fitness room with 15 machines
The hotel has three nice pools. The lifeguard was fair, and guests are allowed to have footballs and play. There are green areas for playing football, and guests have free access to a public park with pools and other outdoor facilities.

This hotel is an undiscovered (by the English) gem. it has all the facilities one could wish: comfortable rooms or self-catering 'residences', three pools, and a wonderful restaurant, as well as complimentary access to a lakeside lido for swimming, paddling, pedalo hire & other facilities. The staff are extremely pleasant & helpful and most speak good English. We were a party of six adults and six young children, staying in mid-July and we had a wonderful time.

We loved staying here. After 10 days in Airbnb’s this was a refreshing overnight stop. The staff went out of their way to find us a taxi, late at night, to pick us up from the train station. The manager, Barbara drove us to the train station the next day. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The hotel is spotless, updated and the beds slept great. If ever near Iseo, I will definitely book again. I give them 5+ stars.
