Renting an apartment by Lake Garda is the perfect solution for families with young children or for those looking to spend time in close proximity to nature, in welcoming and informal surroundings and where life out in the fresh air and absolute tranquillity are fundamental elements of the holiday.
Great appartements a short drive from Garda centre. We were three people in the appartment with two bedrooms!👍 Large bathroom and a kitchenet with refrigerator, a must to cool drinks in the hot weather in Italy. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel, breakfast was great, but dinner was a disaster!!!

If you're considering booking here, don't. I cannot tell you how disappointed we were with this 'resort' and to see it described as a 'luxury family resort' is actually laughable. We didn't receive an apartment, we received rooms with facilities that we were then charged additionally to use. Our booking confirmation said we would receive a welcome drink...a smile or a welcome would have been nice let alone a drink - reception staff are rude and miserable, that said at least they set the expectation for the stay. The kitchen - €80 to use The safe - €10 to use Air conditioning - €10 a day to use Laundry/towels - €8 a day to have changed The pool was freezing - the children's splash pool even more so than the main pool...there were a lot of sun beds but mainly I'd imagine as…

Response from PoianoGarda, Ufficio Marketing at Poiano Resort Appartamenti
Responded 12 Jun 2017
Dear Laura, We are certainly not happy since we were probabily not able to serve you in the proper way. To explain how things went to any prospect reader: - We received your reservation trough Booking.com, nowhere are we highlighted as "luxury family resort". - You booked a "Classic accomodation" wihich are apartment without air condition and it’s clearly highlighted in booking. - You where upgraded in an appartment with air condition without paying the surcharge, since we had it available. - The use of the kitchen for 80 euro is... a pure fantasy... you obiously didn't pay nothing for using the kitchen. - You stayed with us all the 6 nights you booked and not just 2. We hope to serve you according to your expectation next time you will stay with us. With our best regards Gloria G, Ufficio Marketing

Huge 50m pool is panaramic setting which never seems to get overly busy. Spacious apartments within easy walking distance of Poole and Breakfast areas.. plus free shuttle ever 30mins to the town of Garda itself. Would definitely go back.

We found our apartment excellent value for money. On first appearance we felt the apartment was a little outdated (The kitchenette folds out of a cupboard in the living area) but for the price we paid, we were over the moon with the accommodation. We had a very large apartment that opened out into the gardens with a table and chairs and a stunning view of the lake. I have some very fond memories of opening up the large wooden doors onto the garden area, sitting our with a bottle of wind watching the sunset over the lake. There is a very reliable shuttle bus service that runs from the hotel right into Garda bus station at regular intervals as it is a bit of a walk, especially on the way up! There is also a very reliable and cheap taxi service that will run you up and down if the…

I stayed in this apartment hotel for 4 days during a long weekend in October. The location is very beautiful and the view from my apartment was breathtaking. The apartment was spacious and there was a kitchenette. Really comfortable. The resort is very big and it has a lot of facilities. I enjoyed a lot the Spa, big and relaxing. One thing I didn't appreciate was the cleanness of rooms, it was acceptable but the apartment was a little dirty. It can be improved.

We stayed here about 5 years ago so knew the accommodation was fairly basic. We chose it again because we like the location (you need a car). However, there are some really basic improvements that could be made very cheaply by the resort managers to raise the quality of what is termed a 'fully equipped kitchen' - you need to provide: a knife for preparing salad & vegetables/peeler (only option was a large carving knife???), a couple of wooden spoons for cooking pasta/sauces etc, scissors, a fish slice to go with the frying pan, a tea towel, a cloth for cleaning & a bit of washing up liquid, cups & glasses that are large enough for a proper drink and a toaster would be fabulous - all this could be done for less than €30 per apartment. Families looking to use this accommodation…

Nice apartment with good location. But wifi is an extra cost ; you pay Eur 2 per day per device. Tv channel not in italian but german or french. No microwave in the kitchen and no oven. If a family plans a long stay and plans to cook etc it is not convenient. Bathrooms no carpet at all.
