I don't know the rooms on the 2nd floor, I always book a ground floor room or suite. I guess all rooms are rather traditional but they have excellent beds, minibar, tv, air con and very fine bathrooms in white Carara marble. Most have a balcony or terrace.
The style of the rooms is in line with the traditional style of the entire hotel. Italian charm.
