Although I have commented previously that refurbishment is needed in the bedrooms, and it still is; our stay this time was again an excellent and most enjoyable experience. The hotel reception and bar area, plus the swimming pool and gardens, continue to be maintained to an extremely high-standard, and are very, very impressive. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel continues to be exceptionally high. The highlight of our stay at the Kora Park is always the staff. They are at all the times friendly, courteous, welcoming, helpful, and constantly very professional. This was again another highly enjoyable stay. This was our fourth stay at the Kora Park (over an 8 year period), and we will return! Well done to the Kora Park team.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location at the bottom of a mountain. The staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and provides everything you need including a lovely breakfast to start the day. I would say the hotel is more suited to adults or older children as our 11 year old was a little bored.
Since 2012, we have visited and stayed at the Kora Park on 3 occasions, and without doubt the hotel is set in extremely nice surroundings. The team at the Kora Park are very helpful, friendly and have a real ‘can do’ attitude. Renato, a waiter in the restaurant, is exceptional; with an always ‘friendly face’ and an impeccable approach to providing the best possible service, and is a valuable asset to the Kora Park. The hotel reception and bar area, plus the swimming pool and gardens, have all been updated and continue to be maintained to an extremely high-standard, and look very impressive. However, the bedrooms are in need of a major update. Although very clean, with nice bed linen; the rooms are showing signs of wear-and-tear, with the furniture suffering from bumps, scratches and other damage, and the bathrooms especially in need of an upgrade, where the shower desperately needs replacing. By undertaking this upgrade work, the Kora Park would again set a very high standard for the Formia area.…
Booked this at short notice owing to family reasons. The hotel is in a lovely setting. The hotel is clean but the rooms are in need of updating. The shower doors in particular were lacking that extra TLC. Upon checking in we were told we couldn’t use the pool as there was a wedding at hotel. This was the start of the bad experience. I felt the hotel considered the wedding parties and conferences more than the guests. Most of the staff are nice but there was one female behind the reception desk ( I presumed owner or part owner). She would not even bother to raise her head to say good morning. She really lacked the customer service delivery aspect! The breakfast is extremely poor. They tried to get rid of the food from the parties the previous evening. If there was no party the night before there was a severe lack of choice. In summary nice hotel but I won’t return until they improve the breakfast and for the female to change her attitude …
The hotel is quite nice with beautiful grounds. It looks like the perfect place for a wedding. We were there for one night on our way to Sorrento in late October and the place was very quiet. Breakfast was included but we weren't told that when we checked in. We drove into town for dinner although it appeared that they served dinner at the hotel. The free parking was good. The small road to the hotel might be a problem to find at night. Our landmark was a bar on the main road to turn into the road to the hotel.
There was a wedding going on, so it was quite limited how we could use the outdoor area, we also had to sit downstairs to eat, basically in the basement. The food was good though, apart from breakfast. On our way from this place we had to stop to get something to eat.. The staff was really friendly and room was good.
Very relaxed, clean and comfortable stay! We stayed with our 2 year daughter several nights in Kora Park in the end of September, everything was great. We recommend just not to stay on the "partners hotel beach", much better is Lido di Golfo (300m away).
A friendly small hotel with big hotel service. A great place to relax where no request was to much trouble. Great rooms, beautiful grounds. Away from any hustle and bustle yet only a few minutes from town and the beach. The staff could not have been more helpful, hotel was very clean as was the pool.
Our second stay at this truly relaxing hotel. The hotel is situated out of town in a vast garden which is beautifully maintained. The pool and surrounding area are kept in perfect condition. The room was spotless. However the one thing that makes this hotel so good is the staff. Everyone there is so helpful, cheerful and attentive to detail that nothing seems a problem to them. We arrived after an eventful journey by car from Rome airport, during which our car had been broken into. Laura and Vincenzo both immediately came to our rescue and went above the call of duty to ensure that we resolved the issue and were soon by the pool, We shall definitely return
Are you looking for something between local little hotel and big allservices hotel? This is perfect place. Hotel with great atmosphere, calm, but not too silent, and wonderfull garden with bestifull flowers. Swimmingpool is big enough. ( open until 18 pm). Staff is really friendly and services good. Food is not cheap but not expensive and Ok. You can get snack etc hole day, but A la Carte just 13-14 and 19.45-. Breakfast is typical Italian, but we miss little more of choices... The town is not good. But hotel is great. I recommend to couples and for babies. Not good place for teenagers. Even you see sea, it'snot near. Mountains are beautifull. Kiva hotelli. Erityisesti tunnelma on ihana. Ravintola on Ok, pientä purtavaa saa koko ajan mutta A la carte on vain 13-14 ja illasta 19.45 eteenpäin auki. Aamiainen on tyypillinen italialainen, mutta suopea. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä. En suosittele paikkaa teini-ikäisille, mutta pariskunnille ja pienille vauvoille tämä on kiva paikka. Meri on ajomatkan päässä, vuorille pääsee myös. Huoneet tavalliset. Uima-allas kiva mutta suki bain klo 18 saaakka. Huoneissa pienimmissä ei ole parveketta joten me tuntuivat ahtailta. …
