I stayed at Corte Estense last year for a couple days and this year for a week. It is located just steps from the cathedral and within pleasant walking distance of all sites in Ferrara. The railway station is a 20 minute walk or the bus to/from the station is virtually right across the street. Rooms are large and well...

I am going back again for an 8 day stay. Located on a quiet small street very close to the main piazza. The breakfast is good and the prices are reasonable. Good wifi connection from the internal open air patio.

Charming old style hotel in the centre of the old town. Our room was spacious, the shower was great and the staff very helpful in their recommendations. As it is in a quiet back street, it is a peaceful location for a relaxing stay in Ferrara.

This hotel is in the old centre of Ferrara. On walking distance of the old churches, restaurant and city centre. Only for this reason this is one of the hotels to book on your trip to Ferrara. The people at the reception were very friendly en helpful. The rooms were fine and the breakfast very good. I would love to...

Illegal through the pedestrian area at a small street to unpack for the entrance of the hotel; only a minutes drive for a private and secure parking, just for 15 euros. A very nice patio to relax; typical Italian style interior; at walking distance from all Ferrara-highlights.

We loved our week in this hotel. You couldn't pick a more central location, a tiny walk from the cathedral and very close to Castello Estense and various other sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly, assisting us with our extensive sightseeing. We were very happy with our quiet room overlooking a courtyard and found breakfast to have a...

This hotel is mildly disappointing but is in a great location with friendly staff and a good breakfast. Our third floor room was functional but charmless and seriously short of power sockets which is not good enough in the age of the internet. Wi fi is also rather cumbersome.

The Corte Estense sits in a small street 150 metres from the main street, although that's to put it a bit strongly; it's pedestrianized most of the time, and life goes by at a pace which is increasingly rare to find these days. Having been captivated by Mantova, I was knocked out by Ferrara, and the hotel contributed much: very...
