Brilliant location in an idyllic Italian resort. The hotel rooms are sufficient and the staff by and large helpful and pleasant. Facilities are a bit few and far between, does not have a bar to relax in. By and large a pleasant experience but would have loved a jacuzzi and somewhere to relax!

Really happy staying at Hotel Royal in Cortina. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is awesome continental European fare. They had frozen gluten free bread which they baked for me in the morning *although I should have advised them the night before!* The location is great, close to restaurants etc. Marcello is very friendly and helpful and advised...

We spent two nights here in Cortina. A very good value (about $100 USD/nite) and it was centrally located within Cortina. Breakfast was very good and we had no complaints. I recommend this place for the good value!

Great location being smack in the middle of Cortina. the receptionist was friendly and could remember me by name which is impressive. The hotel is lovely but my room floor was pretty worn wooden floor with many scratches. the bed was comfortable and warm though. Nice bath too. Decent WiFi. breakfast was good with a basket of fruit available.

We had the perfect stay at Hotel Royal! The room, bed, and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good too! It was the perfect location in the center of town! We stepped out of the hotel and there were plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping. Perfect!

We loved our visit mainly due to Vanessa and her co host. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We did not meet the evil owners as mentioned above. Good location. Comfortable rooms. Decent breakfast. Interesting decor. We have never come across another hostess such as Vanessa. She deserves an award. She truly seems to love her job and...

Royal Hotel is a family-owned hotel, which has been run by the family for the past three hundred years. Obviously genes have decayed overtime! The owners (father + mother) do not know what customer-oriented business means. They hate their job, they hate customers and it shows! They just want your money, will be happy when you leave the place and...

We had an excellent family getaway in Cortina. Thnx to the family running the hotel Royal. The hotel is very good located in the city center, near the Faloria ski lift and station and after a full day of skiing, it is very nice to have the bus stop in front of the hotel. Vanessa is the perfect hostess and...

“Either one chooses a hotel downtown with access to all that is CORTINA or one closer to the slopes where you are away from everything. The ski-shuttle makes staying downtown no problem.”

“We suggest to book a superior room. We made our booking at the last minute and picked up the simplest ones. There are other biggers and more charming, with view to the main shopping street for example. There was no minibar in our rooms.”
