Stayed for a week skiing holiday January 2015. First impression- nice traditional hotel. On entering into a small reception area greeted by a friendly young lady who checked us in, showed us to our room & a short tour of hotel. Bedroom of average size, good storage space with TV & mini-bar. Bathroom again clean & tidy with good facilities....

We stayed here for 1 week in January 2014 and had a wonderful time, didn't want to leave! The food was wonderful, the staff were lovely and it was nice to stay in a hotel ran by Italians and not English, also not many English guests there which made it all the more nice. We were snowed in on the...

We were on our way through the dolomites and looking for a hotel just for the night and found that excellent place with friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very quiet with a bathroom which had a real window. Walking distance to the center is 10 min. Breakfast is served in an old wooden "Gaststube" which gives a calm...

Read some of the earlier reviews before booking a last minute deal, so was wary of the polar comments expressed. Unfortunately the worst of the reviews are completely true. The complacency and arrogance of the owners has to be seen to be believed. Inflated prices for extras and school dinners std food is the norm here. Had to return both...

A group of 12 friends stayed here and all were extremely happy with the hotel, its owner Mr Barisetti, the staff and the location. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was very good - we were on half-board.

If you stay in Cortina, Hotel Barisetti is the place to stay. A charming hotel that is close to everything. Great food and excellent service provided by the owners Maximus and Elise. Breath taking views of the Dolomites from your room balconies and the sound of a mountain stream that is so beautiful right next to the hotel .

Stayed for two nights en-route from Italy to Austria, the staff were friendly and helpful with advice as to places to visit. Food at the hotel was good and fresh. The hotel is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and there are plenty of places to visit in the area. The rooms are not large but...

The staff was incredibly helpful with establishing a WiFi connection, recommending places to eat, and with directions to discover the city. The rooms were simple but very clean and well kept. We only ate breakfast there and it was fresh with plenty of choices.

My two nights in the Barisetti were enjoyable and I'd recommend it to all my friends. The hotel is very conveniently located about 200 meters from the Tofana cable car. The room was good, hot water was plentiful and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh croissants, fresh bread, good ham, cheese and salami + fresh fruit and...

I was just looking to book a hotel in Cortina and I remembered this dump. Unless it's under new management dont even think of staying here. You have to walk across a large carpark to get to the lifts so why not stay 5 mins away at a decent hotel and drive to the carpark (it nearly always has spaces...
