We stayed for 2 nights as part of a Ski Safari. We expected the dorms to be basic but had been assured that hot water would be available. 8 of us in the dorm shared the shower adjacent but had to make do with cold water. We all assumed that no one else had hot water until we spoke to...

Sheltered by family highly recognized in the world of skiing in Cortina, but their treatment in restoration leaves much to be desired, they only care to make a box and leave 2 beautiful girls to give the face. Poor dinner and breakfast service, poor, poor, simple, nothing recommendable. Wifi never works, several excuses. Basic superior rooms, narrow as a mountain...

We had our wedding here! Renata, Ruggero and Adrianna, Lucilla and Arianna made our day truly special. They went above and beyond to ensure it was a great reception for the 24 of us. The food was brilliant . 😍Good selection of antipasti followed by warm salad, the best pasta I've ever tasted, then tenderloin roasted to perfection finished off...

We stayed here as a part of a wedding party, and despite it being out of the ski season, the staff didn't compromise on looking after all the guests. The location is just stunning with a vast panorama over the mountains from the terrace. Outdoor tables are well sheltered and dinner was served outdoors on a sunny evening. Great hearty...

Stayed at this Hut for 1 night. Perched on the edge right next to the ski lifts and just below the start of the via ferrata Punta Anna. Amazing views on its terrace. Even inside was beautiful with large windows to enjoy the view. Very good, fast and free WiFi. We slept in a dorm room for 12 below. It...

We went three days at the restaurant. In the cold days of Janary, we had a warm welcome and could enjoy some local, traditional food. Simple, yet tasty and well presented. Owners are absolutely kind people, smiling and helpful. One of the waitresses seemed to be not that interested in our needs and thus I'll give an "average" to the...

We booked a night here at Pomedes as a "treat" for our package holiday "chalet night off". It took two attempts over a couple of weeks to rouse a response to make the booking...perhaps they were busy? We were warned by some people we met who had been that it may be cold. Apparently when the owner is at home,...

Rifugio Pomedes is simply a dream place. The location, just under the Tofane group, over Cortina, in front of Cristallo and Marmolada, is stunning and inspirational. The Rifugio itself, in the dining rooms and in the bedroom, is cosy and enchanting in every detail. The food is typical and very good, never obvious or heavy. to try strudel and apple...
