We pass by quite often in the area for work reasons! The place is old, not old-fashioned, but just old and not attended properly ! We have been forced here because the other (San Giorgio) was full And didn't want to spend much time looking for alternatives!...well we should have ! Place is pretty dirty, smelly, stained in every possible...

This is an older hotel but has its own charm. A sea view room is fantastic with giant windows that open. Breakfast was adequate--many choices--but if you want cappucino, you have to ask for it. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is an small elevator which is always welcomed. This hotel is not even a block from the...

We needed a place to stay prior to catching a train for Salerno. The train station is only a block and a half away. It served our needs perfectly. Complimentary breakfast was very good and the lady that checked us in and out was lovely and helpful. We had a room facing the main street and the water. Great view.

This hotel is situated a just a few minutes walk from the train station and as we were there only for one night due to joining a cruise the next day, it suited us very well. On arriving we was greeted by the Receptionist who served us well. We enquired about food (it was around 9pm) and was informed that...

We stayed here last night after being sent from the hotel San Giorgio where we had a booking. There was no water to several rooms so we had to be moved- this was the excuse they gave anyway. This hotel is past its sell by date!!!! We were offered a room which stank of cigarette smoke so saw two more-...

Booked one room for one night. Check in without problems, reception looks like a 1980 flashback. Actually the whole thing looks like 1980...i was not very surprised to find the room in poor condition, furniture out of classic movies, water stains on the ceiling, traces of smoke on the wood ceiling, cracked and dirty walls and ,yes, some butterflies painted...

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel De La Ville the night before leaving for a cruise out of the port of Civitavecchia (Port for Rome). The hotel is close enough that we were able to walk to the port shuttle (at the gate of the port) to be driven to our ship). Do not pay for a cab to...

We arrived by hire car rom Rome at night so chose this hotel and location since it was on our way north and not too far a drive at nightime. A very good choice since we were very happy with the location and level of service and amenities. Excellent for a short stay, reasonably basic, very clean and not too...

Perfect for pre or post cruise stay sailing from Civitavecchia. Lovely former palazzo converted to private “boutique” type hotel. Great location overlooking the sea, easy walk to nearby restaurants, town amenities, daily market and a stroll along the waterfront. Treated ourselves to a Junior Suite, which was perfect after a long and cramped overnight flight from the States. Two rooms...

Although the grand hotel showing its age in places, it is more than charming and more than comfortable for the price... it surprised us as did the town. The seaside port reminded me of Nice without the haughtiness or tourist traps. The surrounding restaurants, shopping and welcoming people, and the gorgeous shoreline (which is very reminiscent of the Cote d'Azure)...
