The room was okej for 2 stars but not att all as 4 stars. Never eat dinner there neither breakfast, it was by far the worst breakfast and dinner we had during our visit in Toscana. The pool was dirty in the ground.

Stayed for one night on the trip across Italy and it was great. On arrival we were greeted, and settled within minutes even it seemed busy. We managed to miss the restaurant opening times, but were kindly offered some food. The town down the road is lovely too for a night walks. Parking is free, as is wi-fi and genuine...

Very friendly staff, half board available at affordable prices. Rooms quite comfortable. My a/c unit did not seem to work, but was not needed as well. Breakfast slightly disappointing. Overall positive experience.

Recently returned from seven nights stay at this hotel. Food disgusting and cold, cramped dirty rooms, noisy corridors, often no hot water and service non existent. Swimming pool is a health & safety hazard with changing area 'work in progress'. The town is closed for business with several hotels and many shops boarded up. Don't waste your money.

Just returned from a tour and stayed here 7 sleepless nights. Situated on a very noisy, steep main road. Small very hard beds & pillows. Fridge and safe didn't work. No lighting in the corridors and stairs. Hot water some days. Food awful and very small portions, Breakfast - very poor, coffee and milk undrinkable, orange juice in plastic cups....

I have just returned from Italy after spending six nights at this hotel as part of a tour. I am finding it difficult to find words to describe how poor this establishment is, the rooms are dark and unwelcoming, as are the public areas. The food just plain poor with extremely small portions, the staff are poorly trained, getting a...

Not very good with food. Also every evening we had to wait till staff woke-up and started serving meal (3/4 hour). Projected serving time means nothing here. Very tired of this! ...................................

this hotel had a grand old feeling...loved the friendly staff and dining area...food was with Italian flair...so was pleased...breakfasts were plentiful...all happy .....the rooms were comfortable and basic....no complaints other than the rooms were found to be cold due to the hotel being situated up in the hills....no heating allowed until October were told!!!!

Very disappointing hotel, we had been told that this hotel was 4 stars and £79 per night and expected it to be lovely NOT !! The outside looked beautiful, the inside looked very dated , our room was dark , we could hardly open our wardrobe as so little room next to single beds even when they were pushed together....

A traditional hotel a few minutes walk uphill from Piazza Italia, the centre of ChiancianoTerme. The exterior of the hotel is inviting - with white leather chesterfield chairs and nice patio chairs and tables. Most of the hotel seems to have been fairly recently decorated in tasteful decor but the back was less attractive. We had a small balcony with...
