We booked a room only to arrive and be told they were sold out and had no rooms available. The hotel is not easy to find. It is off the main road, so it is a big waste of time. The street has a gate, which you can only cross after you check in, so prepare to walk.

This friendly hotel is well placed with the beach less than 1 minute away. The décor in the public areas is plentiful but interesting with historical books around for general perusal. The rooms, though not large, are modern and well equipped but alas the side of my face on the pillow lost circulation. I asked housekeeping for a softer pillow...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days during our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time! Room: We had lovely corner room on the top floor with a view of the ocean to the left and the castle to our right. By American standards the room was on the smallish size but as long as we kept everything...

We stayed at this hotel at the end of the season (it closes the first october sunday). It is a family hotel. Mrs Maria, the owner, takes care of it as of her private house. And she knows a lot about Castiglione's history, so talking to her was a pleasure. It's a 3 star offering more than an average 3...

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, located a few meters from the beach. The staff is very friendly, many of them speak English or French. Breakfast is excellent (self-service), there is plenty of choice. Rooms and bathroom are both very clean and comfortable. As we didn't have dinner there, I can't say anything about it. There is only one...
