We enjoyed our one night stay at the Hotel Mediterraneo. The location is good -- five minutes walk to beach or town center. Rooms are in great shape and very clean. The proprietors were kind and provided useful suggestions, including warning us to book dinner in advance because in the winter many restaurants close, so they fill up quickly. Breakfast...

nice room, quiet and immaculate. the staff are very accommodating and helpful. the breakfast buffet (included) was the best I had in Italy - yogurt, cereal, toast, boiled eggs, croissant, cakes, juices, coffee etc. The beach is a leisurely 10 minute stroll away.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We selected it because it offered parking. There is a small parking lot at the back (they give you a map to it when you pull up to register). Location is good, a less than 5 minute walk to the historic center, We were in a spacious 4-person room even though we...

This hotel is near the rail station but there's no nuisance noise from the trains. It's well located for the beach (5-10 mins walk) and also for the old town. Breakfast is better than others I've had in Italy. Only downsides were very hard beds and pillows (I think that's how Italians like them) and the bathroom fittings were very...

This was the ideal hotel for our first trip to Sicily. The location was perfect - across from the train station, so great for our journeys from Palermo and day trip to Taormina. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Angelo, checked and printed off the train timetable for our trip to Taormina without us even asking. Our room...

Great hotel... Located right next to the train station, a 6 minute walk to the strip, and maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach. Staff friendly and accommodating... And the breakfast was probably the best I've had in all of hotel stays in Italy. I'd definitely return.

I booked this hotel for my mum and her friend for a short stay. They had an overall great experience, the hotel was welcoming, easy to reach from the train station and nice and clean. It's not really close to the beach and it takes a 10 minutes walk from the hotel to reach it. Breakfast was abundant and fresh....

We (1 adult+two kids) stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2016. Initially we have planned to stay for just one night but the hotel, the service and the town of Cefalu were so charming so we decided to stay for two more nights. We had a room om the same floor as the reception. The room was...

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for five days early in July. We found it very comfortable and the service was great. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. There was a nice little balcony with a table and two chairs. The view wasn’t great (overlooking a carpark). The upside was that it was very quiet at...
