Brilliant location in the heart of Tuscany. Nice, quaint, clean rooms with great views. Breakfast was very Italian so there isn't really any western food but really what do you expect, it is Italy! The pool was brilliant. It was warm compared to most Italian pools. Service way good and all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend...

one of the best locations for an agriturismo in the area, stealing beauty esque gardens, statues, fountains, swimming pool illuminated till midnight, old stone farm houses rennovated into lovely little ensuite bedrooms (meaning a great night's sleep due to the thick walls but a water tank which only held enough hot water for one hot shower per evening). Breakfast left me...

We enjoyed our stay at Poggio al Sorbo. We got friendly service, a superb breakfast (including real Italian coffee) and found the fattoria a welcoming place. The whole place has an old-worldy charme that is quite different to many of the more glitzy properties. It should be mentioned that the owners do not use pesticides or herbicides anywhere on the...

My family just returned from spending five nights at Poggio al Sorbo and we had a fantastic time. We rented apartment #13 that had two bedrooms, a big living room and dining area and kitchen. It was plenty of space for me, my wife and two children. The setting is beautiful with great views from the grounds of the surrounding...

This was one of our favorite places to stay in Italy. We started our visit in Venice and then traveled to Poggio Al Sorbo and spent 7 nites in the 3 bedroom apartment. Contrary to other reviews, we found Carlotta friendly, helpful and more than willing to help us with maps, directions, or just generally chat about the area, the...

I don't normally comment.....but after reading two negative reviews.....I feel I should share my experience. My wife and I stayed at Poggio al Sorbo in June of 2007 and I just finished making reservations for this June. We loved everything about our stay and found both Carlotta and Lucia to be very helpful and conncerned that our time there was...

The location was good, the place was great, the people (except for the young polish woman) were horrible. We were a small group, one of the women in our group asked them for directions and the "much older" woman was very rude and couldn't offer her any information. We asked about dining, we were given two restaurants (which were both...

We had planned to stay in this hotel in July and we never made it there because a woman named Carlotta was extremely rude over the phone. We had given our credit card number via e-mail in order to hold our room which she said was available. After we had submitted it, she told us that she doesnt have availability,...

We recently spent three nights at Poggio al Sorbo. It was wonderful, better than we could have hoped. Poggio al Sorbo is a bed and breakfast at a winery in the Chianti region and the facilities and grounds are spectacular. My wife and I stayed in the Bella Vista room and were greated on our arrival with a bottle of...
