My husband and I stayed several nights at the Hotel Salivolpi and found it exactly what we had imagined in a Tuscan accommodation. Our room was at the front upstairs in the original old farmhouse, but some rooms were in a more modern building and some were over the breakfast area in what we assumed was once a barn although...

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and were pleased with every aspect of the hotel. The location was terrific for day trips thru-out Tuscany, the room was spacious and clean, the staff helpful and polite. We have stayed in several areas of tuscany and would certainly come here again.

My husband and I spent five nights at the Hotel Salivolpi in early October and loved it. The front desk staff are very gracious and accommodating. Graziella, who prepares and serves the delicious breakfast buffet, clearly communicates her warmth and hospitality, despite the fact that she doesn't speak any English. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the bathrooms are...

My parents and my husband and I stayed here for three nights during part of a longer trip to Italy. The hotel was charming, breakfast was filling and plentiful, and the staff was very helpful! The grounds of the inn are very nice and had it been warmer, we would have loved to take a dip in the pool. The...

I love touring Tuscany with a fine car and stopping wherever I feel. I am a luxury hotel manager in Mauritius, I know straight away what is good; in Tuscany looking for pure authentic experience no chi chis. Salivolpi has excellent flair, facilities are charming, never defected, and the location is absolutely perfect. I loved it

We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was nice and clean. The only odd part was the bathroom, and I'm not sure all rooms are the same. But the ceiling in our bathroom slanted down toward the back where the tub was. It was impossible for us to stand up in the tub. But the grounds were beautiful, good...

Lovely little hotel in lovely grounds. Converted farmhouses into some nice acommodation with excellent parking. The staff were friendly and showed you to the room. Good breakfast included in the excellent room rate. Only located 10 mins from village walking which has some nice restaurants. The hotel also had a nice swimming pool and bar area. Would definitely return. Great...

My husband and I stayed at the Salivolpi Hotel, we found the rooms beautifuly decorated and comfortable. Spotless bathroom. The best part was the people who work at the hotel, they are by far one of the most charming people we met during our whole trip in Italy. We really want to go one more time!

We stayed at the Hotel Salivolpi during the off-season, in November. The hotel had a few other guests but was very quiet and relaxing. The room we had was of average size, with wood-beamed ceilings, and a wrought-iron bed frame. The bathroom was large for Italian standards. The hotel has a very rustic feel, as it is an old Tuscan...

We stayed one night 10-8-04 on our way to Sienna. The room was charming and quiet. Other than a small scorpion who wanted to keep company with us the stay was perfect. The breakfast was very good in the unique building set aside for serving meals. The service and attention to our needs was 1st class.
