The main proprietor, Antonello, was very helpful by email in advance of our trip. He was out of town during our stay, so his brother-in-law, Gaspare, showed us around, offering with no prompting to take us on a tour around the city. He made several stellar restaurant recommendations and talked to my husband about the wine varieties local to the...

A very comfortable apartment to relax in, once you have negotiated the 4 flights of stairs. Antonello and his mother made us feel very welcome and we especially appreciated that milk, bread and breakfast ingredients were provided as well as an expresso machine. We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed for longer. In comparison to Naples...

General: We had a relaxing stay in June at Tetto Fiorito, and it was very easy to reach from the Naples airport. We took the bus that Antonello had recommended to us, and Antotello's place was about a 10-minute walk from where the bus had dropped us off. Antonello's sister and mother were there to greet us, and made sure...

Castellammare di Stabia is an ancient city, that was equally destroyed 79 like Pompeji and Herculaneum. Two beautiful (and to tourist almost unknown) roman villas bear testimony to this part of history. Today the city it self is not very beautiful, but perfectly located to visit Pompeji, Herculanem, Sorrento etc. Tetto Fioroto is a charming accommodation with kitchen, beautiful balcony...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tetto Fiorito. The apartment is characterful and clean with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent Wi-Fi (we found this useful for checking travel details / opening times etc). Antonello and his family gave us an incredibly warm welcome and couldn't have been more helpful, including carrying our luggage on arrival - should point out that...

We really enjoyed our 6-day stay at Tetto Fiorito, May this year. Tetto Fiorito (roof flower) is a marvelous terrace with beautiful flowers and fruits, and views; very pleasant to come home to, after trips in the area. The entrance was great; it's like an old castle door, with a small one you enter through. When you step inside you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tetto Fiorito is a new Bed and Breakfast located in the center of Castellammare di Stabia, in the heart of the Sorrento Coast. It has two attic rooms (Tetto Lilla and Tetto Verde), recently renovated, situated in an eighteenth-century building. Both are located on the 4th and last floor of the building (without elevator), with access to the communal terrace, where there are many flowers... This is the reason of its name: Tetto Fiorito! Tastefully decorated, these apartments have all the comforts to make your stay unforgettable. The terrace is 80 square meters large. It is equipped with sun loungers and a swing. From the terrace you will have a pleasant view of the surrounding buildings. The location of our B&B is really strategic. Tetto Fiorito belongs to an ancient historical building in the heart of the town of Castellammare di Stabia where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. Castellammare di Stabia is a place rich in history and culture, located at the edge of the Sorrento coast. We are downtown, a few meters from the Castellammare di Stabia's Cathedral, the excavations and Villa Stabiae; moreover, you could have wonderful walks enjoying the beautiful landscape of the Sorrento coast. The train station and the bus stop are only 50 meters far from the B&B. Every 30 minutes there are direct trains to Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. In the same station you will find the cable car which quickly connects you to the beautiful forests of Mount Faito, where you can immerse yourself in the nature. With the cableway, during the summer period only, you can reach in 7 minutes the height of 1100 meters above the sea level. The tourist port is far 5 minutes walking. From here, hydrofoils and ferries will take you to Capri, Sorrento and Naples. Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Gulf of Naples' island, Capri, Ischia and Procida: All this important location are very simple to reach from your home, if your home will be the Tetto Fiorito! ... more   less

“Pay heed to the hotel's website with directions and the fact there is NO lift. You can get help with luggage as needed, but you are walking up and down four flights of stairs, then another short, but steep flight to get to the rooftop and the rooms. Use extra caution when it is damp or raining.”
