Our trip began with a hike in Parco Nationale Abruzzo, while we made our way to the Almafi Coast. We stopped in Cassino and stayed at this wonderful small boutique hotel. The rooms were nice, the grounds were immaculate, the hotel restaurant food was delicious! The one thing that stood out was the very hardworking hotel owner, Fabio. He wanted to ensure we had the best experience at his hotel. The price was reasonable too! We stayed twice at this hotel, driving to Almafi and back before we headed to Roma. I give this hotel a two Thumbs Up 👍🏻
We always stay at AL Boschetto when we go to Italy. We must have stayed here 30 times! It is clean, friendly, and a good place to stay. The restaurant here is excellent! The breakfast is always good. It is had to beat.
Came in here and it was empty, we should have realised from that moment! We went as two couples, ordered two sharing Antipasti’s at £15 each and no joke each ‘platter’ had 3 bits of water thin meat on and some vile tasting cheese. We then waited for our mains, we all ordered a pasta dish each. When it came out, it was rock hard and very well under cooked. The sauce was sitting under all the pasta on the bottom of the plate. It wouldn’t even bind to the pasta. We sent the door back and I, myself refused another dish and went hungry as it’s quite acceptable for one dish to be wrong but for every dish we ordered to be disgusting, it can’t get much worse! For an Italian restaurant it’s ridiculous when you consider we was in the heart of Italy! Upon receiving the bill we refused to pay for the starters and the meal we never actually ate but £60 for 3 awful dishes was a joke. Never again. …
This was a last minute decision from a full day of driving down from Rome. Happy to say the hotel could accommodate us as they had a large wedding going on so a family room was booked with gusto. We decided to eat in their restaurant as it was rather late, food on the whole was fine although i would say avoid the prawns as i was up at silly o’clock repeating the experience in reverse 🤢 Apart from this little mishap it was a fairly comfortable stay, room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff very pleasant and just what was needed after the drive. No frills sleepfest.
This is not a place to rest. It was 80 degrees today but they can not offer air conditioning tonight. There is too much traffic noise to keep the patio door open and the room-to-room noise is unbearable . I banged on the wall once and the occupants turned down their TV, but it is now almost midnight and it is still too loud for me to sleep. A great hotel for insomniacs!
This hotel is a little far out of town to walk but the hotel was good. It is a little dated but it was fine. The room I had was a good size. It didn't have a bath tub only a small shower. This hotel has 2 elevators. The elevator to the right of the check in is probably the original to the hotel. It is so small, 2 people with suit cases can barely fit. I loved it. It has that old European look and feel to it. Breakfast is included. It is not gourmet but it is adequate. There is a banquet hall attached to the hotel which would be good for functions or weddings. The back garden is beautiful with flowers and a water falls that would be great for those special wedding pictures. You get a view of the mountains from just about any room.
Simple - clean -convenient . Solid 3 star . Good size rooms - furniture dated but in good shape . Really great value . Excellent restaurant . Family run business . Playground for children and beautiful gardens on front side
The hotel is out of town and the taxi fare from the station is euro 10, which I suspect is the tourist price. The hotel is old style, the rooms a little small, but comfortable, you can tell that they have been renovated recently, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The air conditioner in the room didn't work, you have to go to reception to ask them to turn it on. Breakfast was more than adequate, cereal, fresh fruit and very crunchy bread rolls. On the last night we had dinner in hotel restaurant Pleasant surprise, extensive menu, far more than what is offered on a sign in the lift. Great service and inexpensive wine. Save room for deserts
Barely adequate overnight stop, plenty of free parking spaces, cramped but comfortable rooms, very tired decor and desultory breakfast. Not really a hotel I would be returning to anytime soon. The staff were friendly and efficient. .
Nice decor with a local flavor. Staff is remarkably friendly, helpful and capable. The included breakfast is excellent and so is the restaurant. Food prices are reasonable. Free wifi works well. Beds are very comfortable.
