Stayed at the lovely Hotel Laurin for a week in March with four friends on a ski holiday. First off, I cannot recommend skiing in Sellaronda and Val di Fassa more highly: excellent resort, delicious food (at prices MUCH lower than in France or Austria), good après-ski, and little towns more charming that the most 'perfect' Swiss resorts. Hotel Laurin... More

staff is friendly, kind, helpful; room was good, clean, beds comfortable; the restaurant at hotel offers good meals, variety; location is very good at the center, 5 minutes from the gondola; free wifi but with poor quality reception in the rooms i spent my ski vacation, will come back

A week spent in Canazei after Christmas with the family was very nice in this clean and comfortable hotel. Good location, kind staff and excellent food. Next year we will certainly book another week in this hotel.

This was our favorite place.Clean, friendly, good food, staff was a trip. We had such a pleasant stay thanks to the staff. They were very helpful and funny. We should have learned Italian, but luckily Igor spoke a few languages. We are hikers and for us the crowds are a turn off. We went in Oct, the weather was great,... More

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the hosts and surprised at how much they knew about Texans! The rooms were cozy and the views outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best with plenty of selections. The hosts sent us off to see the Dolomites and were very informative.

We traveled in April when most venues were closed. Hotel Laurin has parking, amazing breakfast, and helpful staff. Thomas and Igel helped us so very much with our meals and touring plans. We were several nights the only guests. We were upgraded to junior suite at no additional cost. When we first arrived the chef was off. The pizza was... More

Located in the main street in Canazei (Canazei is about 20 miles west of Cortina), a self proclaimed bikers' place, the Laurin does a nice selection of basic salads and main courses. It is also a pizzeria although sadly when we arrived (12:30 mid week in October) no pizzas were available. Sitting outside in the sun, watching and listening as... More

I can't fathom how this place would get a bad review. It was reasonably priced, had very nice rooms with spectacular views across the road (if you were at the front), and the people were friendly and helpful. We arrived on motorcycle just as the kitchen was to close. The proprietor asked if we had eaten; when we said no... More

We (my wife, me and our son 24 yo with a girlfriend) stayed here for two weeks, starting from December 31 till January 14. At first I'll say about what I dislike at the hotel (not too much things and not too emotionally): breakfast and New Year Eve. But having traveled enough in winter Italy I must say that it... More
