My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as part of a longer trip to Europe during September to October 2008. It was easily the best place we stayed during the whole trip and we really did not want to leave at the end! Silvia and Bruno are extremely friendly and welcomed us into their home wholeheartedly. Silvia is an amazing cook and they were also able to recommend some great local trattorias (I was desperate to try squid ink pasta). We were actually able to explore a lot of Sicily from here (we had a car). It's an easy day trip to anywhere on the east coast - we drove to Etna and Siracusa from here and drove back after dinner etc. We both highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Sicily. You simply will not find a better place to stay.

When you drive the roads of Sicily contending with overtakers on hairpin bends and potholes imitating Etna's craters, you need somewhere relaxing to unwind and reflect on what a superb country Sicily is to explore. This Agriturismo is the place to unwind, look at the countryside, swim in the pool with a view of the real Etna and look forward to excellent cooking and conversation from Silvia who farms organically the land surrounding her hill top home . It is no great distance to the coast and temples of Agrigento, to the fabulous Roman mosaics at Piazza Armerina and to the inland towns of Caltagirone and Caltanissetta. I just wish that we had spent more time at this airy hilltop heaven and spent a bit more time catering for ourselves in this little apartment after shopping in

This was out final destination in a journey from Naples through Calabria and eventually into Sicily. Bruno and Silvia are very welcoming an excellents hosts. They looked after us very well, even taking us to a nearby vineyard to have a tour around the "factory" and buy some of the famous Nero d'Avola wine (which we have almost finished!). The appartment was excellent. Clean and spacious. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped to mean that we could buy some local food and have lunch in, which is a real pleasure. In the evening we ate with Bruno and Silvia and other guests. The food is delicious, the majority of it being products of the farm, which include olives, almonds and chickpeas. We couldn'e leave without buying some olive oil, chick peas and almonds which we

I went to Sicily from Australia to experience the real Italy. I was blown away by the genuine kindness of Silvia and Bruno's welcome. Travelling alone can be daunting but not when you arrive in this central Sicilian farm. I was shown around the beautiful orchards and vege gardens. Bruno explained the growing and harvesting of their organic products - impressive. I was also introduced to Silvia’s extended family who farm in the area. It was really great to truly meet and mingle with the locals - I was invited to watch a tango expo at the farm next door - wow. I got to met the man who locally makes and sells great shirts and suits internationally under the gregory brand (even in David Jones in OZ), needless to say I got myself outfitted very reasonably. There are great walks in

Tucked in the rolling hills of central Sicily, surrounded by almond and olive groves we were made truely welcome at this wonderful farm stay by our gracious hostess Silvia and her charming husband Bruno. We came for a few days and ended up staying two weeks. Silvia's fantastic cooking was enhanced by organic home grown olive oil, vegetables (tomatoes to die for), almonds, lentils, wheat and chickpeas. We dined by the large well cared for salt water pool, which has a view of Mount Etna in the distance. Our two bedroomed airconditioned appartment was impeccably clean, calm, light and spacious with its own terrace. The appartments are part of the modern farmhouse, which is a blend of simple tasteful rural sicilian style. Here there was no overload of tourists just glorious vews of
