We had a very enjoyable stay at Sillitti Farm over three days in April 2016. Silvia and Bruno were charming and welcoming hosts.

The location - once you get the hang of the route (the last mile) - is secluded, quiet and scenic, but is also very easily accessible from the island's highways network.

Silvia runs an organic farm, so all her produce is fresh and wholesome…the herbs were so full of flavour we had to buy a packet of oregano from her farm. Silvia’s cooking, which we sampled on two nights, was excellent. Her choice of dishes was highly varied - yet all Sicilian in style. She prepared vegetarian meals just for us, but told us it was no trouble at all!

Breakfast was also fresh, tasty and plentiful.

The conversation at the breakfast and dinner table - with Silvia and Bruno, and with the other international guests - was entertaining and it also helped inform us about local culture, foods and tourist sights.

We complimented Silvia on the great tasting bread, and she kindly gave us a starter culture for sourdough bread, which we are now using back home to remind us of our great Sicilian holiday.

This is not the easiest place to find at night even with full directions from Silvia, especially when a road is unexpectedly closed, however such is the nature of Bruno and Silvia that even when you arrive very late due to a fight delay, nothing is a problem. Bruno came out to find us and then settled us down with a glass of local wine before we went to bed. The agriturismo is in the middle of their farmland with good views all around and an attractively situated swimming pool. We stayed 3 nights in total in a two roomed apartment with some self-catering facilities although with home cooking and fresh farm produce available, why bother?
The bathroom is a good size (shower cubicle) with a high level wc, and pool towels are provided. The living room contains fridge, sink, kettle, table and chairs, settee, bookcase with tourist information and a lobby area in-between this and the bathroom where there is a bench and hanging space. The bedroom is simply furnished with plenty of drawers and a comfortable bed, there are flyscreens and shutters. Laundry facilities are available, 2 rooms have their own patio area and there are roses everywhere. The breakfasts and dinners are very good, so good that for the first time ever, I managed the full 4 course Italian evening meal: anti-pasti, primi, secondo and dolce. Dinner is a family affair, where you are treated as welcome guests and you may well find yourself sitting with the family and their guests or equally just Silvia and Bruno. Piazza Armerina, Aidone and Agrigento are within easy reach but you may not want to leave this lovely, peaceful setting. NB Book your dinner beforehand. Photos available but where is the 'add photos' space?

This agriturismo was the perfect stop for us on our search for family roots in central Sicily. The hosts, Sylvia and Bruno graciously greeted us and gave us such wisdom and encouragement as to how to make our search in Enna a success and indeed! It was! The home is actually a villa situated high upon a hill overlooking the lush and fertile rolling countryside of the heart of Siciliy. Our rooms were perfect: comfortable, clean and pleasant. Our breakfasts and dinners were delicious, seasoned with their own freshly pressed organic olive oil, spices from the garden, and their wonderful home grown almonds! Oh my gosh! I truly thought I had died and gone to heaven. Meals felt like we were with family, never strangers. This farm is a treasure with all of its surrounding beauty. You could opt to stay and spend the days at the pool, surrounded by gorgeous views and fragrant flowers, or easily tour the remains of the magnificent temples in Agrigento or the astounding mosaics of the Roman Villa, all nearby! Side note: You can even do your laundry here!

Everybody has said how wonderful Silvia's place is, we just want to add to the praises that have already been said. We have just stayed for 6 nights with Silvia and her family. What a treat. Silvia did everything she could to make sure our stay and experience of this lovely corner if Sicily was excellent. It was. Silvia is an amazing host and an amazing cook. Breakfast was always yummy and the dinners we had were amazing,I'm afraid they have spoilt us for the rest of our trip, nothing will stand up to the food we tasted. We had the pleasure of meeting Dillyban (sorry if we have spelt your name wrong), who was helping Silvia out for a short while, he was delightful too.
If you have read this review and are thinking of staying anywhere on Sicily you must stay here. Not only will you have a wonderful place to be but there is so much you can do from this great base.
We will definitely be back.

The previous reviews say it all, a beautiful tranquil place with owners who really care to make their guests feel at home from the moment you first make contact with them. Sylvia and Bruno happily open their home to you, and eating with them and the other guests was a gastronomic and social pleasure.
The accommodation is simple but spotlessly clean and having the facility to cook for yourselves sometimes a plus.
The absence of wifi is either a blessing or a drawback depending on your point of view!

What can I add to the glowing tributes - not a single one of them overstated. Well only that Sylvia & Bruno spent about an hour looking for us on SS640 in the early hours of the morning and could still greet us witha smile. Never experienced hospitality, or food, as good as this -it was a pure delight staying here, and that goes for our 15 year olds, and 4 year old too. I'm still enjoying the olive oil & pasta I bought to take with me....only wish I'd got more!

My husband, one-year-old daughter and I spent four nights at Silvia and Bruno's farmhouse in April and would highly recommend this agriturismo. Silvia and Bruno are incredibly welcoming and passionate about what they do. Silvia prepares five course meals every night using organic products from their farm. It was a pleasure to share dinner with Silvia, Bruno and the other guests from around the world.

The apartments are comfortable, spacious and clean. Spending time on the farm was also very relaxing and the perfect place for a one-year-old to run around.

Finally, the location is ideal. I thought we were going to be a isolated but in fact there are many interesting spots to visit within an hour's drive. It is a great place to base your stay, or part of your stay, while in Sicily. We spent three nights in Taormina before coming to the farmhouse which gave us a good balance between a touristic beach vacation and an authentic farmstay in Central Sicily.

We spent three nights at Bruno and Silvia in June/July 2012 and could not be happier. The rooms/apartments were spacious and clean, and Bruno and Silvia made us feel almost like home, with ther great hospitality. Highlights include the great view from the terrace, the home made limoncello, the wonderful kittens and the cooling swimming pool. Silvias cooking is excellent and we enjoyed some of our best meals during our Siciliy stay here. To sum things up, we could not think of a better agriturismo in Sicily!

While the first time we arrived, we had difficulty finding the farm, Silvia met us and led us on our way! Once we arrived we were in heaven! The gorgeous countryside with a serene pool, lovely gathering spaces and of course the bountiful products of the farm available to try made our experience unforgettable. We dined with Silvia and Bruno several times with the other guests and it felt like we were all old friends chatting under the stars until late! Silvia and my husband shared many recipes and spent time cooking in her beautiful kitchen. Even Lola the farm dog made us feel like family. The location made it an easy stop in the beginning of our trip as well as on our way back across Sicily. We are now expecting our first child and can't wait to return for a visit!!
