We stayed three nights here and just loved it. Silvia is so friendly and dinners we ate were delicious- many based on Palermo recipes from her grandmother. The cats and dog are friendly too! We watched the almonds being harvested and tasted the delicious olive oil. We agree with all the positive reviews!

This was a surprise holiday and certainly not disappointing - wonderful location. Our stay with Silvia and Bruno was a welcome retreat and they couldn't have done more for us. They became instant friends and gathered us into the realms of their family and friends. Typical Sicilian meals were delicious and it was a delight to eat communally with them and whichever guests were staying. Highly recommended.

What to say about the Sillitti farm?!?! My wife and I were in Sicily for 3 weeks and we can honestly say that the two nights we spent at this farm were the most memorable, beautiful, delicious nights we had!!! Silvia and Bruno are wonderful! Sitting at the dinner table talking and eating felt like we were with family. Silvia's cooking was incredible!!!!!!! It was some of the best, if not THE best, food we had during our entire trip. Between relaxing by the pool, eating that food, and talking with Silvia, Bruno, and the other lovely guests we met, it was a truly unforgettable experience.

My mother and I had the pleasure of staying at Azienda Agricola Silvia Sillitti as we traveled between Agrigento and Piazza Armerina. The plain, simply furnished rooms included lovely touches such as a fresh cut rose and an elegant dresser. Silvia Sillitti is most gracious, and as a treat for ourselves we ate dinner there. (Dinner is an additional fee.) The multi-course meal was the definition of abundance and delicious - especially the squash/pumpkin dish. The wifi was spotty, and I wish I had brought my swimsuit. The set-up seems perfect for family groups where playing in the pool could be combined with day trips. (The sites we were interested in were over an hour away. ) I just finished roasting the organic almonds grown there, having soaked the nuts beforehand in

My husband and I had the wonderful experience of staying at this Farmhouse B&B for 5 nights in April of this year. We cannot say enough about our stay here. The owners, Silvia and Bruno are simply put, two of the warmest, wonderful people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. We took our dinners at the Farmhouse for 4 nights. Eating with Silvia and Bruno is truly like eating with family! Silvia's meals are incredible! It doesn't matter what dish she is serving (usually 4-5 a night)...each one is beyond delicious! The view from our bedroom window was spectacular! We had a car and took five day trips to surrounding areas each day. Valley of the Temples...the Mosaics...medieval villages....each trip was no more than a hr away....then we would come back to Silvia's

We concur with all the positive comments that have been made by former guests. Silvia and Bruno are incredibly hospitable and lovely people who give most generously to make their guest's stay very special. It has been fantastic to eat with them for dinner at night and to learn about rural life in central Sicily. Silvia's cooking is fabulous and she is somehow able to produce a meal of several courses with total ease while chatting with her guests. We felt so welcome at Azienda Sillitti and Silvia and Bruno seem to sincerely love meeting new people and learning about their lives. It has also been fascinating to learn about their farm and their commitment to organic farming methods. The countryside surrounding the Azienda is spectacular. We can highly recommend Azienda

We arrived a bit lost but Slyvia came promptly and collected us a few miles away.....with a beautiful smile and cheerful demenor...... The farm is in a lovely, pastoral setting on a hill surrounded by organic fields of almonds, wheat, olive trees and oregano bushes. She knew we were hungry as everything has been closed for "workers holiday" so she prepared a little lunch for us of sandwiches, salad and tea and fresh almonds.......she also visited with us for quite some time although I am sure she had "farm chores" and other obligations to attend to.... The rooms are simply appointed with everything you would need including a comfortable couch and sitting area. Wifi was a little sporadic but certainly usable.....the bed was very comfortable. The birds were singing so

We had a very enjoyable stay at Sillitti Farm over three days in April 2016. Silvia and Bruno were charming and welcoming hosts. The location - once you get the hang of the route (the last mile) - is secluded, quiet and scenic, but is also very easily accessible from the island's highways network. Silvia runs an organic farm, so all her produce is fresh and wholesome…the herbs were so full of flavour we had to buy a packet of oregano from her farm. Silvia’s cooking, which we sampled on two nights, was excellent. Her choice of dishes was highly varied - yet all Sicilian in style. She prepared vegetarian meals just for us, but told us it was no trouble at all! Breakfast was also fresh, tasty and plentiful. The conversation at the breakfast and dinner table - with Silvia and

We loved our stay at Azienda Agricola Silvia Sillitti. It was a real privilege to be able to talk with Silvia about the production of her olive oil and about the farm in general. We were also able to try some of her produce when she cooked delicious food for us on one of the nights we stayed. We brought some of Silvia's beautiful oil back with us and it's helped us remember our wonderful time in this warm and peaceful location.

Seasoned travelers often are reluctant to return to an inn or b&b in which they have had a stellar experience. While this may seem counterintuitive, its rationale lay in the old expression ‘you can never go back.’ Travelers treasure their best travel experiences, and don’t want anything to spoil those memories, even if it means frequenting a lesser place the second time around. A couple of years ago, I took a 5-week trip to southern Italy and Sicily. My wife was unable to come. Though I could not put off the trip, I told her upon leaving that we’d repeat the exact trip one year later. I made good on that promise but, by its very nature, I was compelled to return to the same places I had stayed the first time, even though it violated the ‘you-can-never-go-back’ rule. And,
