Awesome location and view. Spectacular even. Stayed upstairs and loved it. We had a great dinner and then rode down the next morning. Technical mountain biking. I would advise that others be sure to find the appropriate trails before descending.

From the moment we stepped into the rifugio, we were made welcome. A great home cooked lunch resulted in an impromptu overnight stay in a very comfortable room. Dinner consisted of an amazing home cooked 4 courses. Our hostess made us feel like family. We would definitely recommend this Refugio to anyone wanting a wonderful stay.

A unique experience sleeping at 9300 ft. perched on top of a mountain straggling the Swiss and Italian borders. The breathtaking views in the early morning hours (at dawn) were worth the steep price! We slept in the wonderful "Cima Rosa" family room, very comfortably appointed with big beds and a large bathroom, unexpected for a mountain lodge. However the...

A rough ride and a hefty walk in thin air, but well worth it! Beautiful view, comfortable and lovely rooms and a truly gorgeous crowd taking extremely well care of you. Very well worth a visit, be it the quick stroll uphill for a coffee, or a stay to enjoy the scenery in one of the rooms. We visited pre-season...

a short hike up the hill to get to an oasis like no others. friendly, quiet and a 360 degree view you will not get enough off. The food was great and the staff very friendly. We would have loved to stay an extra night but they where fully booked, so think twice when booking and don't wait until last...

A unique experience well worth the 10 minute climb from the car park (carried overnight gear). Modern, warm, cosy ensuite room. Lovely hosts - a real family business - with great service. We had a hearty and tasty dinner prepared for us. Breakfast had plenty of choice. And waking to the view!!! A night we'll never forget.

You have to climb a hundred meters higher from Stelvio pass, take your time - the air is thin there. This summit has a history, take a look at what was happening there in the World War One. After catching your breath for a single climb, think of warring Italians and Austrians and watching Swiss more than hundred years ago...

This was a great place to stay at the top of the Stelvio Pass. As others have noted, you have to climb up to the hotel from the road. It's not an easy climb--you won't want to take much luggage with you. However, the view from up top is worth it. It snowed the evening we arrived which made for...
