We stayed 4 nights from 6 July. We were due to leave for Venice on the 9th. but couldn't because of strikes on buses, trains and vaporettos. The young guy (Andrea) on reception phoned the bus and train companies to check on any services running. As there weren't any , he gave us an upgraded room for the standard rate,...

This was a return trip (previously visited 2000, 2004 and 2005). Our room was a good size with plenty of storage, tea & coffee making, chairs and table, comfortable bed and good size clean bathroom with excellent shower over the bath. Complimentary fizzy wine, bottle of water and chocolates were in our room on arrival, and a fresh bottle of...

After reading some of the reviews for the Hotel Parc Gritti, we were a little worried as to what we would find. Dependent on what you want from your holiday hotel, we found the room to be clean and comfortable, with dressing gowns and slippers being provided, as well as the very welcome tea & coffee making facilities, plus free...

Just the right place to be in Bardolino. Easy and quick to get to from Verona airport. This hotel has everything going for it. The location, the food ( four restaurants), the staff and the entertainment (no discos). It is a very short walk along side the lake to the ferry point and the lovely town of Bardolino. The town...

My sister and I have just returned from a long weekend in Parc Gritti. We found the hotel to be very welcoming, receptionist excellent bilingual (italian/german/english), we were given a fab room (Apart 10) on the roof-top with complimentary champagne and chocolates - very nice. We did find the hotel interior to be a little tired although very clean and...

I have now been ploughing my way through Trip Advisor for the past 12 hours trying to find the best location for a hot January break. Realising how useful it is I have decided to add comments on this hotel as I was concerned that there had been some negative reviews and I really wanted to fight it's corner if...

this hotel is everything that has already been said, but i'm afraid the food lets it down big big time, breakfast was congealed eggs in various forms, the omeletes were nice, but only served twice during our 10 day trip, nothing was particularly edible and was tasteless. All food was presented nicely, but hot food wasn't kept hot and the...
