Booked directly through the hotel site a 4-bed family room (offers more solutions according to family needs). The room - which are actually two connected - is large and spacious. The perfect bathroom. Cleanliness reigns supreme as well as discreet bed comfort.
With a child of one year this kind of room is perfect because the little one had the opportunity to move freely without having angular encumbrances and therefore without returning with bruises and / or bumps.
We took advantage of the breakfast, included in the price, which is a buffet with all kinds of food (from sweet to savory, cold and hot drinks). Nothing to say about the staff of the hotel very courteous, friendly and helpful. Many of them have played with our son and we like it when there is this harmony. We also had the opportunity to have dinner and lunch at the restaurant of the structure and the dishes are really good, in addition to the fact that the menu has a wide and varied choice of courses. The value for money is honest. Parking is 50 meters from the hotel, spacious. The location of the structure is strategic because you are in front of the lake, the town center and a few hundred meters from the cable car that leads to the pezzè floors.
Highly recommended for those who want to spend days in the mountains with small children because, in addition to what I wrote, the hotel has a room with games in case of bad weather, and, since there is also the spa is included in the price, we had the authorization to bring our child (only in the whirlpool and had a great time).
If I wanted to return, I would definitely choose this structure again.

Exactly as described by Duncan S. There is such a generous spirit about the hotel, the staff just couldn't be more helpful and friendly, and the daily free snacks (and all the food served) are delicious, if bad for the waistline. If you have a room on the front, you can enjoy the beautiful view across the lake. I was allocated a room in the eaves, which meant I couldn't stand up to shower - I was given another room which became available after one night, without any fuss. If I have an criticism at all (actually, like Duncan S, I think it would be quite nice to have a safe in the room) it is that Massimo is no longer behind the bar in the evenings; service in the bar was a bit patchy this time. I have been before and cannot wait to go again.

I slept in a sister property but had all meals here and had use of all public facilities.

This is an excellent hotel a short (50-60m) downhill walk from the main village area. It's a beautiful location, overlooking the lake, and a first floor bar and terrace makes full us of that. The staff is top notch, and all public areas are of a very good standard. Despite being a very large group, the food was excellent, Breakfast was buffet, with everything from bacon (or at least an Italian variation thereof) and scrambled eggs, through full continental including cakes and pastries. Dinner included a buffet salad bar and a three course meal which, for the 7 days we were there, would be difficult to fault.

Perhaps the only complaint - and in fairness this is part due to the size of the group, the bar area was a little cramped. Though the staff is professional and friendly, and the drinks extremely good value.

The boot room (and games room and spa) are on the lake level, and a courtesy bus provides transport to and from the ski lift.

There was a wide choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. Evening meals were pretty good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the gondola station mornings and afternoons.

Gorgeous lakefront location! Any floor from the 1st to the 4th (top) with lake-facing balcony cannot be beat if you care about lake views. Rear-facing rooms *may* have a Dolomiti peaks view if not blocked by other buildings. (Ask.) There is a quiet, narrow street in between the hotel & the lake, but it is really a pedestrian walkway along the lake, and there is no noise from the road at all. I'm picky about views & noise & had no issues with either in August. Staff were a mixed bag -- a 60's Italian man at the front desk was all smiles & charm, but a similarly aged German man refused to take any payment from me on my day of arrival because it was easier to wait until all extras & taxes posted by the time I checked out. That pissed me off since my check-in day was the one day in the month that my credit card would have earned me 6x points for travel charges. We bought the half board dining option in advance since we weren't sure what dining existed in town, but we weren't impressed with the limited menu or food from which we were allowed to choose. Also, you get a better table facing the lake if you order a la carte.

The hotel is simple, as you can see in the photos, but the value for money is fantastic, it delivers much more than you book! It's a kind of family hotel, in a picturesque location, where the owner (who is married to a Brazilian) and his team do everything to please you! The rooms are simple but heated just right, they are very clean every day, the breakfast is delicious, the prices are honest, the spa does its job very well after a day of skiing without luxury but with a dry sauna, steam room and a delicious jacuzzi, we asked half board, delicious dinners with a good wine list and good prices, and at the end an excellent service, highlighting Daniel at the bar and the wonderful service from Soccol who during the day transports us with extreme friendliness to the ski area and picks us up at the late afternoon and evening he still works as a waiter in the restaurant! Thursdays are unmissable with live music in the Lobby. For those who usually take ski holidays, this hotel deserves to be looked at very carefully, we went by chance and left extremely satisfied! Excellent value for money!

Stopped here with a large group (70+ people) in late Jan. Really nice hotel with good food for both breakfast and dinner. Bar are really pleasant. The hotel provides a minibus service to the main lift which was very efficient. Only downsides were a few nights the water for showers wasn't as hot as it could have been and there was no real orange juice for breakfast.

I stay at the Sporthotel Europa for a week’s vacation in Alleghe, Italy. I loved the hotel, the owners, the staff, and the whole town! I will rate Sporthotel Europa with 150% Excellence in Service!

I had the pleasure of meeting the family who owned and operated the hotel. The staff member who welcomed us upon arrival was Alessandro, the son of the owner. He was polite and welcomed us with a smile. Daniella, Alessandro’s mother works in the office also. Thais, Alessandro’s wife is the masseuse at the Hotel’s gorgeous spa facility and also a Yoga Instructor. She is an excellent masseuse and yoga instructor full of kindness. We practiced yoga indoor and outdoor. Other activities included paddle-boating and hiking along the Dolomite mountains. My room was nice with a balcony overlooking the lake and the Dolomite mountains in the horizon.

The food served at the hotel restaurant was excellent! The Buffet breakfast was served with plenty of choices. The cheeses and pastries were the best I’ve ever tasted! The Dinners were equally as good! The meats, vegetables, and desserts were made with fresh ingredients. And of course, the wines were outstanding!

My husband Carlo and I spent the summer holidays in Alleghe staying
at SPORT HOTEL EUROPA where we were received as always very well by the owners and staff, for this goes all our gratitude to the Pra family and the highly qualified staff and always available to meet the needs of customers. The services are well taken care of and so is the cleaning. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Excellent catering that also offers traditional dishes typical of the place. This year we were very pleased with the consideration, which thanks to the Loyalty Award "Friends of Alleghe", was given to us for our continuous presence over the years here in Alleghe at the Spor Hotel Europa and for this reason we were summoned to the City Hall by the Mayor who, with a short ceremony, presented us with the parchment with the title "Friends of Alleghe".
What about Alleghe? Alleghe is one of the most beautiful and enchanting poti with its characteristic lake of the Dolomites and the Sport Hotel Europa offers everything you need for a top holiday. Thank you so much. Emanuela.
